The soils was def on the dry side and half of the needles were brown towards the bottom (a long trip). However, life still remained towards the top, nice and green. I couldn’t stop smelling the package they shipped in! More fragrant than my live Christmas tree! Within minutes of opening package, I removed and watered right away. Then proceeded to plant them according to provided directions. I hope they make it! I’m slowly going to acclimate them to Chicagoland weather. Luckily, we have had a very mild Winter and feeling their first Midwest air as I type this.
