I bought the bible for my husband im in love with this bible the cover is beautiful. Thes words are very clear i has 2 book marks1 black for ole testament one red for new testamznt i love how every chapter starts will a vintage font letter

Most Bibles at this writing in 2025 are printed in China. Those of us who are avid readers of the Bible can easily see the deterioration of quality of bible paper throughout the years. I read all different translations of the Bible, but I decided to go back to New King James for a while. As I was looking at different Bibles and looking through different reviews, someone had posted a picture that these are printed in India! I love India paper products! I stock up on notebooks from Dollar Tree when I see that they are printed in India because they are excellent quality paper. This Bible absolutely floored me in the beauty of its Comfort BOLD Print Text , the quality of the paper from India and the synthetic leather. It is reminiscent (but not identical of course) of the old Bibles from years ago that were made in America with beautiful craftsmanship and detail and respect to the Word of God; except this is for a fraction of the cost! The sale price is unbeatable. Thomas Nelson, this is a brilliant move. Thank you.

This bible is beautiful and has amazing hand feels. The print is bold and clear. The pages aren't transparent like many bibles are made now. I just want to say that the KJV and the NKJV are the only bible versions that DO NOT remove anything. Go online and look up " omitted bible verses and you'll see a list of about 18 verses removed from all versions with the exception of these 2. In my opinion the NKJVersion reads like a combinational hybrid of the writing style of King James and NIV if that helps or matters to anyone. Anyway, it's beautiful and you won't regret it. Shalom! The Bible has genuine leather look and is perfect size. The font type, size and color scheme is good on eyes. And ofcourse its full of references and brief explanations that enrich the readying and atudying experince. Strongly recommended !

I rarely write reviews nowadays, and tend to only do so when a product so exceeds my expectations I can't keep quiet about it! I ordered this Bible as an 'everyday reader' in the full knowledge that it is not a premium Bible. However, I have been blown away by the quality of this beautiful Bible. It has been printed in a modern, bold typeface that happens to be very easy to read, on paper that has a good quality feel to it. The red letter sections in particular are exceptionally clear and this aspect of the printing puts much more expensive Bibles to shame (Cambridge, take note). There is a slight print-through, but it is not distracting and to criticise this at all at the price point would be nitpicking. Clearly, 'leathersoft' has come on in leaps and bounds since the last Bible I owned with this type of cover; it looks like it is going to be pretty durable and age well. The last thing that I really couldn't believe is that it has a decent Smyth-sewn binding, which for the price is astonishing. This is a great Bible, and a real bargain at this price. Take a bow Thomas Nelson!

I'm so pleased with this Bible, its quality is surprisingly very-high. I have many kinds of study Bibles with commentaries to help for studies, and my favourite translations are mainly the KJV, NKJV and ESV. But this time, I wanted a personal sized Bible without commentary or study notes; just a plain and simple BIBLE for reading the Scriptures. Afte placing my order for this NKJV Thomas Nelson Sovereign Collection Bible, I can confirm that I'm extremely satisfied with this Bible, it's exactly what I was looking for (and more!). Firstly, it arrived much quicker than I expected it to, and it came the day after I ordered it: excellent delivery service! Secondly, this Bible is a lovely size and fits beautifully in my hands (15cm x 22cm x 4cm). The leather is Black Leathersoft material, so its front and back covers have an old, grainy look to them and are quite floppy and flexible, which is an amazing feature for me. In the Bible itself are brief book introductions, the NKJV Scriptures and cross-references at the bottom of each page. The cross references don't feel intrusive when reading, as can be the case with Bibles that have commentary in them, so that's another plus! The pages are also a bit thin, but not too much, which is perfectly fine, in my opinion. Thirdly, this Bible uses the Thomas Nelson NKJV Typeface, which is a hybrid between old and modern font which is easy on the eyes with comfort print, and is very nice if you prefer a visually older-looking Bible font. And the red letter illustrations that lead each book introduction and chapter are just the cherry on the cake; beautiful! Finally, after the end of the Book of Revelation, there is a decent sized concordance and 8 vibrant colour maps. Overall, if you are looking for a Study Bible with extensive commentary, helps and notes, this Bible definitely not for you. However, if you're looking for an attractive, older-looking Bible in its visual presentation, along with just the NKJV translation of the Scriptures and excellent readability, I highly recommend this one! Best translation of all modern bibles so much easier to read than KJV. I wanted to give 4 stars for little bit print show through but considering price I paid £25 for black leathersoft it deserves 5 star
