Jaws 3-D

We all have been waiting for a long time for a definatative release. The previous soundtrack is so short & half ques it is over just after it started. They went all out putting this together. I have been wanting the Main Title from the film just to listen to this whole time. Best presintation period!!!!!

I am a lover of movie soundtracks good or bad. I have always loved Jaws 3 and this soundtrack is perfect. 2 disc set is loaded with all the music from the movie.

Such a joy being able to listen to this great gem. I've been waiting for years... and like every Jaws fan or collector would appreciate it very much. Despite the movie reputation (which I loved), I believe it is a great companion to my other Jaws original OST releases.

I bought this because I really hadn't noticed a lot of music in the movie so I thought why not complete the collection.

In 1983 a soundtrack album was released with 35 min. of music much of it different versions when compared with the music heard in the film. It was a very good album but I aways wanted the "real thing", the music as heard in the film and all the missing tracks.In 2015 after their fantastic release of Jaws The Revenge Intrada Records finally made a dream come true releasing the complete version of the Jaws 3-D soundtrack.This disc includes everything, the early takes that were used in the album plus all the revised music that was actually used in the film after it underwent several recuts before being released in theaters. It even includes the source music for the several attractions of the park.It is a very exciting score, with lots of great action tracks, some colorful material for the park skiers and dolphins, a tender love theme and using John Williams classic shark theme to good effect.Highlights are too many to list all, including the Dolphin Chase (Telex Version) which is actually the version used in the film, Park Opening, Shark Attacks Kelly, the Main Titles, The Shark's Gonna Hit Us.Sound quality is great (hiss is absent), however due to the age and brand of the tapes used in the recording some minor distortion can be perceived in two or three tracks. But it is very minor and it is great that Intrada was able to rescue and preserve these recordings before it was too late.Again this is a limited edition from Intrada, if you love orchesteal scores full of themes get it before it goes out of print!
