This is a lovely, sweet, and tangy chutney. Great with curries or on a cheese sandwich. It's a huge jar, so really good value.

Delicious Mrs HS Balls Original Flavor Chutney. It's not spicy, not too sweet, not thick. It is just yummy as a condiment with anything and everything.

If you are a South African this is definitely for you. I am one and based in the US, love it reminds me of home still make my beets with it and excellent for cooking!

Wonderful chutney

I was never able to taste this Chutney. It is a large plastic jar and it was sent to me in a non padded plastic mailer wrap. The jar's red screw on lid was open and the contents spilled throughout the package. I ordered other chutneys from two other brands and both of them were carefully wrapped and protected from shipper handling. BUYER BEWAR.

Arrived with lid off and completely spilled inside the box. I love the product (order it frequently) but this time it arrived with the lid off and the entire contents was spilled in the box. First time it arrived in this condition and I’m sure I’ll be able to get a replacement but Amazon have this marked as non-returnable so even though I marked the delivery as damaged, and selected ‘return or replace’ the app landed me back in the delivery page without confirming any actions. Confusing. Not the seller’s fault Still marking as 5 stars because the product is usually amazing and giving the seller benefit of the doubt.

Good product really good

I first brought the smaller bottle but found it so delicious I came back for this one, was pleasantly surprised how big the jar is, will last ages. Flavour is absolutely amazing has real nice tangy mango flavour with a little firey kick of chillies, I don't do spicy but found the spicy kick at perfect level, it goes with literally everything from cheese to cooked meat, but I found myself dipping salami and cheese in it. But goes with everything from sausage to grilled cheese sandwich.

Absolutely delicious stuff. Highly recommend and is a welcome addition to BBQ sauces, sandwiches and particularly lovely on roasted broccoli.

It's been many years since I've had Mrs Ball's chutney, since apartheid, it didn't disappoint.

Still stays the best chutney ever. Great for cooking. Resly good taste.
