I think this thing just changed my period life. So to preface i grew up in a house with three sisters (one of which has moved out) but my younger of the two is still here. We go through pads/tampons super super quickly since we often sync up on our cycles so it’s very expensive to keep replenishing the stock of menstrual products. There’s also the issue of my sister being bad at telling whoever is going to the store next that she used the last of whichever product when it no longer conveniences her and it screws over the next person who needs that product. You can imagine how annoying that would be for period products. Anyways i had been hearing lots of people were trying out the diva cup and after lots of back and forth (mainly me being scared on insertion and getting it out) i decided to go on amazon and get one to try it out. it’s more sustainable, lower odor, and people seem to like it. amazon came up with a bunch of different options and i looked through many reviews and finally landed on the Lena cup! there were so many great and in depth reviews and people were telling everyone every good and bad aspect and how they loved not only the product but the company as well, so i got one! i just tried it out today so i’m going to explain how it went. woke up, oh great i’m bleeding :/, but oh wait i get to try out my cup! i already figured i had a higher cervix so i had an idea of how to position it as well as my first time years ago putting in a tampon was a breeze for me personally and i was very comfortable finding my angle that positions best for my flow so that helped a ton. when first inserting i read the instructions and thought the inward fold would be my best bet but when inserting it kept popping open and was a bit uncomfortable and not nearly high up enough to pop open so i tried the 7 fold and it went in great! after a bit of finagling it popped open and suctioned into place! i personally didn’t have to cut the string it sits perfectly in the entrance of my vagina but if you have a lower cervix you may have to adjust it. after an hour or two i wanted to check that i wasn’t leaking and wasn’t about to leak so i mentally prepped myself to take out the cup (this was the part i was most scared of). went to the bathroom and found the string and wiggled it back and forth like the instructions said and it did lower but the suction really holds it in so i went to squeeze the base of the cup to release the suction. this part was a little difficult as i had just gotten stiletto shaped acrylics the day before (not a good idea i know) and i didn’t want to stab my vagina so i had to adjust very carefully and use both hands (one to hold the string and one to pinch the base). once i pinched the base it released perfectly and came out fairly easily. i dumped the blood and rinsed it thoroughly and then reinserted with no issue! i did all of this once again before work and wore it for my short shift. i will say i was glad it was a short shift as i did fill up the cup within 5 hours and at the very end leaked onto my panty liner a bit. i would’ve changed it but where i work we don’t have private bathrooms and i’m not comfortable washing it in the sink where anyone could see so next time i might wear a thin pad or maybe go up a size in cups. overall the cup was very comfortable, felt like a tampon i could really only feel the end of the string and that was only if i moved a certain way. i’m not comfortable wearing it to bed yet just because i tend to try and sleep for 6-11 hours depending on my schedule and while i do get a lighter flow when i sleep i don’t think this size would be able to catch all of my flow. sorry that this ending bit is a little unstructured but i want to hit on a few other points. with the cup you get no odor until you’re dumping it (and that’s only towards the end of the period when the blood is a bit older). another point i want to hit on might be a little tmi this whole thing may have been tmi haha, but when i poop i don’t love having it in. you can feel the pressure of it and i’m sure i just have to get used to it but it just feels a little odd? anyways this has been my review of the lena cup! 5/5 stars for this i really like it and will edit with anything worth mentioning at the end of my period since i am a bit worried and insertion and taking it out when my flow is lighter and less lubricated so we’ll see how that goes. definitely try this product though, it’s great for the environment and you get to know your body better❤️

This is a total game changer and has transformed my period experience from nuisance to unnoticeable. I heard about menstrual cups years ago but was at first skeptical of their effectiveness and honestly grossed out. But after using the Lena cup for my first cycle last month you will never again be able to convince me that tampons and pads are more sanitary than this product. I did a few hours of research to find what I thought would be the best menstrual cup for me. I chose Lena because I read many reviews saying that it was the most leak-proof cup and that it was comfortable. I chose the large because I was post-birth, but I think you're supposed to choose based on your flow. The large fits me well and is fine for my medium flow period. I had no problems whatsoever using the Lena cup. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and read the instructional booklet to get a good sense of how to use it and troubleshoot any issues. I use the '7' fold and it pops open easily. I have had zero leaks after using it for only one cycle. The only issue that I was easily able to navigate was removing it. This could potentially be scary for a new user. The cup tends to migrate up my vagina as I go about my day walking and sitting, etc. When I went to remove it found that I could barely touch the pull tab. However, as I had read, there is no where for the cup to go! The key is to relax your pelvic floor and you can bear down a little bit and the cup will become much more available for removal. As I am sure is the case for all menstrual cups, it takes some dexterity and finagling to remove the cup. I found that I had to use two hands most of the time. I'm right-handed, so I would use my left to pull down on the tab and my right to grasp the bottom of the cup. All in all, I LOVE my Lena cup. I am never ever ever going back to tampons and pads. It is so convenient, sanitary, and COMFORTABLE! I don't feel it at all when it's in. I know everyone's anatomy is different, so I encourage you to get to know your body, the height of your cervix during menstruation, etc. Do a little research or maybe just order both sizes to try. And don't give up if you don't get the hang of it during your first cycle. I had no issues from day one, but my understanding is that it might take a few cycles to really be an expert at using it. It is worth the effort, so keep trying! I believe it is my obligation to tell all my girlfriends and family about menstrual cups. And I have recommended the Lena cup to them. This is a total life changer and every woman deserves to know about it and give it a try if they want. The number one question I get when I tell people about this is "does it spill?" The answer is "no". Could you potentially drop it at some point...yes. It does get slippery. But if you take your time, are careful and mindful, I promise you there will be no problem. I plan on introducing it to my daughter when she's of age. She's only 3 now but this is how much I love this product. Note: I'm not getting rewarded in any way for this review.

I’ll start off my review letting y’all know I was a certified skeptic. This is one of those “well that LOOKS easy but I know it’s not” kind of products, and I was braced for discomfort from the jump. With all that being said, I was super shocked not only at how well it worked, but at how unbelievably comfortable this cup is!! Obviously there’s a small learning curve when it comes to the insertion and positioning, but honestly after I put it in the first time it was already sitting pretty comfortably. I usually only had to adjust because there was some leakage from the cup being in the wrong position. I’d definitely recommend getting some period panties to pair with this, not because the cup doesn’t do it’s job, but to make it easier to keep a track of. I’ve tested the “12-hour wear” thing on my heavy flow days and once it starts getting full you will definitely know by the leakage when you check your panties. So the best thing that I found was some cheap and super comfy period briefs that catch any leakage I may have whenever I’m not paying attention to how long I’ve had the cup in for. I found that with that combination I really get the most out of the cup. Obviously, if you’re a heavy bleeder or if you use the cup on the first couple of days your period starts, the 12-hour wear is going to be closer to 8-10, realistically. However, I’ve still never had to empty it at work or while I’m out and about either! I’ve never had any leakage issues whatsoever while I’m out in public. Once you have mastered which cup fold works best for you (c-fold is my fave) it will literally become a muscle memory kind of thing. I was so worried about how long it would take me to get the hang of taking it out or re-inserting it, but that’s honestly the easiest part. The positioning is always going to depend on the location of your cervix, which I recommend doing some exploratory research well before you even get the cup! My cervix lays a bit lower than most, but of course everyone is different. Once you find your cervix the whole process is easy-peasy. I’ve used this cup EVERY MONTH since February and 10 months later I couldn’t imagine ever switching back to yucky pads or super uncomfortable/unhealthy tampons! (Also I'm not sure if it was just me or coincidence or what, but I experienced a very noticeable decrease in the intensity of my cramps while using this cup. I’m not sure if it’s because of the slight pressure from the cup on the inside of the vagina or what, but so far that’s tied for my favorite thing about this whole product!!!) This product has already paid for itself 3 times over in less than a year. GET THIS CUP!!! I promise you it’s worth it and it will change your periods forever!!!!

I actually bought the turquoise one back in 2017 as my first cup after a friend recommended it to me, and ended up really liking it so I bought a purple one in late 2018 so I could have two. Both colors are super cute and have held up well! I definitely had that "wow, this is life changing" moment that people talk about in these reviews because it does work a lot better than tampons or pads. HOWEVER, after almost 3 years of use, I don't think this cup is my "Goldilocks Cup." First of all, this cup is pretty firm - which may or may not appeal to you, and I can't speak on Lena's sensitive cup, which is softer, since I haven't tried it. But I will say that initial insertion the first few cycles was rather difficult and uncomfortable due to how wide and firm this cup is. The "C fold" that everyone talks about is NOT easy to do with this cup, especially if you're young and have no children (I was 19 when I started using cups). It's difficult at first to squeeze it small enough so you can easily insert it, and once I figured out the punch-down fold, that's been my go-to with this cup. The pro of it being firm though is that it generally pops open pretty easily so you know when it's sealed properly. The only times I've gotten leaks are if I've been in a rush and didn't end up checking to make sure I had a proper seal. I did trim the stems on both of my cups because I found them uncomfortable. I don't think I have a particularly low cervix, but I've found this cup to be much more comfortable without the stem. Despite this cup's firmness, it is quite comfortable to wear and I've definitely forgotten I have my period on days I don't have cramps. A lot of people shy away from firm cups because they can put pressure on the bladder, but I don't notice any discomfort from it. It is something to keep in mind if you do have a sensitive bladder though. Also: the little pouches that this cup comes in are SO cute and if you're a sucker for nice packaging you'll love this company. I haven't found a cheaper cup that is more well made than this one, so if price point is a concern, this is a great option. I'd recommend this cup to anyone who doesn't have bladder sensitivities and has had issues with cups not opening well for them. I don't know if I would recommend this as a first cup just because it is pretty firm. I wish it was just a little bit softer! But, it is a quality product. I'm still using mine after 3 years and it's just as effective as it was the day I bought it! If you're looking for a firmer cup at a great price I'd definitely give this one a try.

I highly, highly, recommend this product for women everywhere of every age. I've used this for 2 cycles and truly believe that this is the best investment that I have made this year. I did a decent amount of research and comparison shopping before I chose a cup and landed on LENA based on design, reviews, and price. I am in my late 20's, have not had children, and my flow tends to start on the heavier side and quickly taper off to light by day 3. Still I decided on the large model cup. First impressions - Honestly, going to use this for the first time is daunting. However, it is not as scary as it seems! Also, the little bag that it comes with for storage is so pretty! Design - The silicone is soft and pliable making it comfortable to wear. The tip on the bottom is closed, so you don't have to worry about cleaning it which was a major deciding factor for me. It's discreet! No more crinkling of paper nonsense that let's everyone in the bathroom know what I'm doing. Ease of use - I read a bunch of reviews and tips to prepare myself for this process. The easiest method of insertion (aka the only one I tried) is the "U fold". Fold the cup in half once, lubricate the top to make insertion easier (tiny bit of water), and insert using the same method as a tampon (keeping the bottom of the "U" shape down works best). Use your finger push the cup up to a comfortable position and to feel around the sides and make sure the cup has opened. This has never been an issue for me (yet!). I read somewhere to do a couple deep squats to make sure it's in a comfortable position. I've tried this and am undecided on how much that works but to each her own. To remove, push your pelvic floor muscles like you're gonna poo (ha poo), pinch the bottom of your cup (if you have nails you will probably pinch yourself as well), pull the cup downward, and dump it into the toilet. Just be careful not to drop it in the toilet. (Been there. Pubic toilet. Super gross.) Easy right? It's simpler than it sounds. Seriously, the hardest part of insertion and removal is keeping your lady bits relaxed. If you begin to stress, your body will tense up and make the process tougher. If you're having trouble getting it into position, take a breath a try again. It may take a couple tries to find a method that works best but don't give up. And no, it will not get stuck up there. You don't need to put the cup in deep, in fact mine rides comfortably low. Cleaning - It only takes a quick rinse which is really easy when you're in the shower, at home, or in a generally private bathroom. Otherwise, another reviewer on here suggests wetting a paper towel and bringing it into a public toilet with you to clean it. This works great! (Unless you drop the cup in the toilet and need to run out to wash it with a ton of soap and super hot water in the sink.) At the end of your cycle, boil it in a pot of water for like 10 minutes, let it air dry, and then pack it away in it's pretty fabric bag until next month :) Comfort & Convenience - I think the first day that I used this cup I felt it and it was a little weird. I'm on cycle #2 using this and I sometimes forget it's there. It's super comfortable. It honestly feels more comfortable than tampons and I can put this in the day that I anticipate my period starting before any blood appears and have peace of mind. I don't have to worry about avoiding a string while I try to pee. And I don't have to have that "how many tampons do I have left?" worry if I'm wearing the cup. Just rinse and reuse. Leaks - On my heaviest days I have had a couple of leaks. Usually while I'm at work or sleeping. No big deal, I just wear a panty liner. I may invest in period panties as well just in case. Otherwise, on my medium days I am leak free only needing to empty it once at work. And on light days I can go the whole day. To put it simply, on a scale of white pants to black pants, I'm definitely going to wear black pants, especially those first couple days. But I'm probably wearing black pants the rest of the days too because of my ladylike tendency to spill things on myself. Price - Let's be real. For the price of this cup ($24.90) I can get about a 6 month supply of tampons (maybe). This cup will last for quite a while, it's reusable, and it's eco-friendly. This is such a money saver. Still on the fence? Do your research. But my best advice is that this is worth a shot. You'll be keeping gross chemicals out of your body, reducing your tampon foootprint, and avoiding the tampon tax.

I've used the Diva cup for years and absolutely loved it. However, it started leaking in the past several months. Rather than just replace it again, I began to wonder if perhaps I should switch to a different brand, as maybe my body had changed and I needed a different fit. PROS: - As for volume, the Lena is great. Even on my heaviest of days, it's capacity is such that I don't have to empty it every hour, which is a huge plus. - The suction is great, so I no longer wound up with any leaks. Again, for heavy days (and especially nights), this is key. (My Diva used to work equally as well, just not so much lately.) - Though stiffer than my Diva, it's still easy enough to insert and remove. CONS: - The Lena is MUCH much stiffer than the Diva cup. On the plus side, this may mean it's less likely to wind up leaking. However, for me, it's stiff enough to actually cause pain. I never used to feel my Diva cup unless I'd truly inserted it wrong, and then it was a very quick fix and no more sensation of it even being in place. Not so for the Lena. The rim is stiff enough that it actually causes pressure near my bladder/urethral area. As a woman who experiences interstitial cystitis on occasion, this pressure is enough to really irritate things. I find that I absolutely have to remove the Lena by my second day, as I can no longer stand what has become a constant pressure and irritation in the pelvis. For comparison sake, I should note that I had to stop using a diaphragm decades ago because it created too much bladder/urethral sensitivity/pain with resulting UTIs due to the inflammatory cascade it set off. That said, I never had issue with using a cervical cap. So, I would say the Lena's rim will definitely feel firmer and larger than a cervical cap, but certainly less than a diaphragm (or disposable menstrual cup). So if you're also a woman with similar sensitivities or interstitial cystitis, just a heads up that there may be other menstrual cup options which would feel better for you. Again, I don't think this will be an issue for every woman, and for many, the Lena may be a terrific option due to its capacity and lack of leaks.

I wish I had known about this or that it was available when I was younger. Knowing I spent 30 years putting bleached cotton and other hazardous materials in or near my vagina is infuriating. Just one use of this product and I experienced a world of difference. No mess in the bathroom, no smell, no harm to My Cat and best of all the period was 'different' without putting all that dioxin, bleach and viscose rayon into the walls of my cervix my body kept it's own moisture. The tampons soak up more than just blood. The materials in tampons suck the natural lubrication and water out of your cervical walls. I recovered quickly from my period and so did my body because it didn't have to go through the stage of putting water back and getting the 'juices' flowing again. I can't say enough about The Cup. I have only tried LENA. If LENA is not for you, try another until you get what fits you right or what works for you but for the sake of your health and your cervix DUMP those toxic materials now. A cup would be perfect for a young woman using chemical contraceptives. Light periods would do fine with the cup for 12 hours. However, I'm an older woman who has given birth and I do not use contraceptives; therefore, my periods are horrendous. I can soak a super plus tampon and an over night pad in 45-75 minutes on my heaviest days. Which puts me getting up 4 times at night. Blood loss and lack of sleep would make me one tired lady. The first week I had LENA I started my period. I was nervous because I just couldn't see myself putting anything up there without a 'syringe' I never understood how women used OB. Cleaning blood out from my fingernails every time I inserted didn't seem like fun. I watched all the videos and folded and unfolded the cup as shown. I was so nervous I put lube on it the first time and it popped right out of my hand! I quickly learned without the chemicals sucking my own moisture away it glides in easily without any trouble. The videos repeatedly say, "Relax your pelvic floor" you can't be all nervous and tight when you try to put this in. If you are relaxed it glides in easily and seems to 'suck right up there.' Happily, you can pee, you can even pooh if you eat a good diet. If you sit in the toilet for 30 minutes pushing it's best to remove LENA. I lift heavy weights 3 times a week and LENA stayed in place without leaking. The days the period became heavy I had to change LENA every 3-4 hours. I paid attention to my body and I could feel LENA 'slip down' a bit when it became full. At night I only had to wake up once. I had some leakage during two nights. The second night I put an organic bamboo washcloth in my underwear to catch the leak. I'm an extremely light sleeper so I can feel it as soon as it leaks out. I have since purchase reusable products for these nights from a dealer who sells organic non toxic overnight pads and panty liners. You could easily make your own. I also have a box of Medline Exam Gloves - they are unnecessary but I like them, I also keep a Sitz bottle by the toilet to rinse before I put LENA back in it's place. Squirting the lukewarm water to remove any remaining blood drops helps to keep stains off my panties because I don't have to use liners with LENA. Every woman is different so figure out what's best for you. I decided to switch because the brand I have been loyal to for decades must have started moving their production overseas. The last 9 months the tampons I purchased looked the same but quality control was HORRIBLE. Tampons would not have a string or would be loaded in backwards or the string would be wrapped around the tampon. It was a nightmare. During the nighttime I would open the tampon and have to stick the end of the syringe to my mouth and suck in to feel if the string was there, if not I would place it to the side and open another. (I do not turn on the lights or I'd never get back to sleep) Too many times I would be squatting on the floor with a gloved hand up My Cat as far as I could trying to get a grasp on a tampon that didn't have a string. It wasn't just one box either. Or the same store. I started thinking if it was this bad, what else have they done to my beloved brand by shipping the production overseas? Harsher, cheaper chemicals? I was done. That's how I came to purchase LENA. NO MORE COMMIES KILLING US WITH TOXINS OUR GOVERNMENT ALLOWS THEM TO DUMP ON OUR SHORES! The only two organs in the human body that are self cleaning are the eyeball and the vagina. Would you place a tampon on your eyeball for 4 hours? For that matter STOP using any chemicals on the pink parts of your vagina. The mucus membranes clean themselves. If you think you stink cleaning it only makes it worse in the long run. It's like people who over wash their hair have to wash it everyday or it's greasy. Stop miss treating your Lady Parts!

A little background: I'm a 26 year old woman who has never given birth. I am an advocate for women's health, and I worked in gynecology for several years. Outside of where I live (rural Texas!), I'm probably the second type of woman that pops into your head when you think of someone who uses a menstrual cup -- the first being the crunchy granola hippie who turns her placenta into pills. (I'm not judging, do you.) (Okay I'm judging a little, but that's mostly because of my own prejudices.) I have long loved the idea of reducing waste w/r/t menstrual products. For the last 6 years, I've used OB tampons because the idea of throwing applicators in the trash every month is appalling to me. I'm not a hippie or a tree-huger by any means, but I don't want to create more waste than I need. I also liked how little space the OB tampons took in my purse. Because I was already familiar with my lady parts, trying a cup seemed like the natural progression. Many of my friends use, love, and have recommended menstrual cups. So I said LET'S GET ON BOARD. The first time I tried was in 2013, and it was a disaster. I have a cervix that changes heights throughout my cycle and I have tried the Diva Cup, the Lunette Cup, and the Lily Cup at various points over the last four years with no success. I couldn't get a seal that worked or the cup would not work with my cervix. For one reason or another, I am not even sure what (shape? positioning of holes? my vagina not being a welcoming environment?), they just didn't work for me. I'm not exactly sure what caused me to bite the bullet this time, but I'm so glad that I did. After doing loads of research on menstrual cups (checking out Bryony (aka Bree aka Precious Stars Pads), the Put A Cup In It ladies, and the livejournal community on menstrual cups), I decided that a cup that was more bell/tulip shaped that was rather firm would be my best bet. I received my cup on Saturday morning, realized I'd started my period early in the afternoon, and after a few experimental folds, decided the punch-down fold would work best for me. The first day of my period was great! I left it in for about 11 1/2 hours with no leaks, I peed multiple times, had a BM, could not feel the cup at all. Which I thought was a good thing....until it was time for removal. I had some issues getting the seal to break, and my cervix is much higher than it generally is. I couldn't reach the stem of the cup with my fingers at all. I later figured out that most of the problem was the stem getting caught right above my pubic bone. The following is a (slightly censored) series of text messages I sent to one of my best friends (herself a diva cup user): "Okay so I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to remove my cup" "I literally couldn't get it out. I couldn't break the seal at all" "I ended up pushing like I was pooping but before I got the cup out I got a massive s*** and all of the residual (SUPER POTENT) urine out" "(It was at the top of my vagina which is VERY LONG rn bc my cervix is VERY HIGH today)" "at that point it got down to a place where i could tug on the stem" "and then I couldn't get it at all" "I got the stem outside of my body, relaxed, AND MY EFFING VAGINA ATE IT AGAIN" "So then I cried a little, took some giant breaths, and pushed down a gain. Got to where I could pull on the stem and it was so slippery I couldn't get a grip on it" "I beared (bore?) down while I was pulling on the stem and then the base and it popped out NO effing problem" "aaaand the single movement poured into the toilet before I could see how much blood was in it." Her only response? "Omfg friend, I'm so sorry." So. I took the overnight off my cup and used a tampon. And look, I have been using tampons for the last 15 years, exclusively for the last 13 or so. I have never felt a tampon the way that I did after I used my cup for just a single day. I could feel it. The same type of tampon I'd been using and inserting since I was in college. The menstrual product I had previously touted as perfect and unobtrusive! I COULD FEEL IT. It was one of the weirdest sensations I've experienced in a long time. In the morning, I took out the tampon, and it was mostly dry. It HURT to remove. You know the feeling? I don't need to describe it to you. At that point, I decided that my poor vagina was going to be miserable no matter what I did, so it might as well not be as dry as my West Texas plains. I put some water-based lube on the cup, on account of my vagina being so dry, and inserted it. ...and then it popped open before it was all the way inserted, because it was TOO LUBEY. Think that episode of New Girl when Schmidt uses too much lube and falls off the top bunk of a bunk bed. That is basically what happened, only the cup was schmidt and the bunk bed was the inside of my vagina? This is not a perfect metaphor. Anyway, it didn't hurt but it was uncomfortable as I was removing it. I adjusted the lubrication factor on the cup to a manageable amount, and inserted. Now, I will say this about my experience that I'm guessing most of you won't have: The one thing that's been tricky for me from transitioning from the digital tampons to the cup is the angle of insertion. With the digital tampons (digital as in "use your fingers" not "data expressed by 0s and 1s and transmitted"), you flare out the base and insert in the general upwards but slightly backwards direction. With the cup, you insert generally backwards and slightly upwards. Any issues I have had with inserting the cup have been with getting that angle right. I've found myself standing with one foot on the tub or the toilet, like Captain Morgan, starting to insert up and thinking, "NOPE THIS IS NOT RIGHT, abort abort BEFORE IT POPS OPEN TOO SOO-crap." If you're not used to inserting things into your vagina at a specific angle, this will not apply to you. My flow picked up on Sunday to the point where I filled up roughly half of the small cup (so probably between 8-15mL) each time I've emptied it between Sunday and Tuesday. I would say I have a normal - normal-heavy flow, though my periods last around 8-10 days, though they do get considerably lighter after day 5 and sometimes skip a day or two in the middle. (I have talked to my gyne about this, she says my endometrium is just finicky. She also said I have a cute uterus.) I had an Incident on Tuesday afternoon after work, where, instead of pulling the cup out and slightly up, I got a bit...overzealous in my movement and ended up spilling on myself and the floor. Thankfully, I was about to get into the shower and was not wearing clothes, though I did have to lysol the floor and pray no crime scene investigator comes to the house and luminols the floor any time soon. I chalk this up to my own clumsiness and inexperience, as well as my over-zealousness, rather than a shortfall of the cup. There was just a bit of clear fluid in the cup when I emptied it on Wednesday morning. Figuring I'd hit one of my mid-period lulls, I put the cup in its adorable bag and took it with me to work. I figured that if I needed it, I could insert it at work. Well, after my morning meeting, I Felt It Coming Back. So I went to one of the bathroom stalls, took a few deep breaths, squatted a smidge, and put the cup in. First try: no popping it open and hitting me at the entrance of my vagina, no lube, in a public place! I would generally have to change a super tampon at least once over my workday or a regular tampon 2-3 times. NOTHING. It was just SET IT AND FORGET IT, like those Ron-co cookers that used to have infomercials running constantly in the early 2000s. I have been able to remove and insert it on the first or second try after the first day or so. I will say that there is a steep learning curve to using a cup, but I would say that's not different than switching from pads to tampons for the first time -- an experience I haven't had since middle school. There is a possibility that I could have made another cup work if I tried harder, but I had leaks galore with those cups. This one? NADA. Even on the first day. The customer service at Lena is FANTASTIC. After my Saturday Night Vagina Fight, I used the contact form on the Lena website to ask if maybe I needed the larger size because of my migration issue and inability to remove the cup. I sent it around 10:30p my time and received an in-depth reply from Amanda at 2:04a. ON A SATURDAY GOING INTO SUNDAY. That's literally unheard of. Like, I worked at a bar and stopped giving a care about our drunk patrons after about 1:30a. She was kind, very reassuring, and gave me a lot of suggestions. I took them into account and haven't had an issue with removal since. I would recommend this product to anyone across the board, with the following exceptions: -people who do not have vaginas -people who no longer menstruate due to hormonal birth control, menopause, hysterectomy, or endometrial ablation -people who are not comfortable getting up close and personal with their genitals, including measuring their cervix -people who are not comfortable with the viscous and weirdly textured menstrual blood -people who embarrass easily Menstrual cups in general and the Lena Cup specifically are good for: -individuals who care about their carbon footprint and creating less waste -people who travel a lot and don't want to worry about carrying around menstrual products -people who are forgetful and have to buy a new box of tampons every month because they forget theirs at work -individuals who work long shifts with not a lot of time for restroom breaks (nurses, servers, teachers, etc.) I can't count the number of times I left a tampon in for what I know is too long because I didn't want to lose a table during a shift at the bar. -people who want to be cool-- menstrual cup sales have gone up almost 200% since 2015! If you've read this far into the review, you're clearly interested in this product, and I cannot recommend it enough. I hope you enjoyed it, learned from my mistakes, and laughed with me at myself.

The learning curve is a bit hard. And it's not that soft and flexible. Great product, great packaging and great delivery. Thanks Lena and Amazon.

Questa è la mia prima coppetta e, dopo un utilizzo di quasi un anno, posso dire che mi pento di non averla acquistata prima. Certo, diciamocelo, come per tutte le coppette ci vuole un po’ per capire il modo giusto per indossarla ma, essendo morbidissima, una volta abituati non si sente nulla e si ha una sensazione di comodità incredibile. L’ho usata al mare, per fare sport, per viaggiare... e non ne sono mai stata delusa! La consiglio assolutamente!

Muy buena

Infolge einer Beratung habe ich mir die Yuuki soft 2 gekauft. Die war mir aber viel zu hart beim Einführen und Entfernen und der Stiel hat mich sehr gestört -- kürzen hat es nur noch schlimmer gemacht. Also musste eine kleinere weichere her, am besten mit flachem Stiel. Es wurde die Lunette. Die wurde mit der Zeit etwas weicher und in den ersten Tagen war sie bei manchen Bewegungen undicht, den Stiel fand ich aber super. Deshalb kam nur noch ein flacher Stiel in Frage und so habe ich die Lena entdeckt. Sie ist etwas fester als die Lunette, lässt sich aber problemlos -- und schmerzlos (war bei mir immer ein Problem) -- einführen und entfernen.

Molto comoda e facile da inserire. Nessuna perdita nonstante un ciclo piuttosto intenso. Come da produttore, puo essere indossata fino a 12 ore senza problemi (circa 9 con ciclo intenso). La misura piccola e' capiente e comoda, molto facile da rimuovere.
