Tourna Hipster Ball Band for Holding Tennis Balls and Pickleballs

I debated whether or not to buy this, but am so glad I did! With this, I can easily wear leggings when I play. If I'm just hitting against a wall, I usually hold 4 balls (in the back, 2 on each side of my spine), although it could hold more. And during a match where only as many as 3 balls are in play, I never need to hold more than 2 at any given time. It's super quick and easy to slip the ball under the band, and yet the balls are completely secure during play. The only cons: 1. The band doesn't stay quite as flat as I hoped; the top stays put, but the bottom does tend to ride up a bit (if there are no balls in it). However, I simply adjust by tugging down on the bottom edge, right & left sides simultaneously -- but that's only once every 4-5 games during a match, at most, so it's not that big of a deal. 2. When it's 90+ degrees and humid and I'm sweating all the way through my clothes, this band is drenched in sweat as well. So you're basically pinning the ball between two sweaty pieces of fabric (this band and your shorts/leggings). Not ideal. This also means that I want to wash it after each use, at least in this kind of weather. The band washes up nicely by hand or in the washer. I always let it air dry, and it dries quickly. But after over 20 hours of use, I'm back to buy a second band -- I want to have a spare in rotation so that I don't have to wash it daily. Totally satisfied!!

The Hipster works great for holding a couple of balls when I play tennis wearing shorts instead of a tennis skirt.

I like that it's easy to put on, hold 2 tennis balls firmly and avoids needing a tennis skirt over leggings (in the wintr) to hold extra balls.

My husband keeps telling me to go buy new tennis skirts with pockets. I have about 6 already, plus the leggings I wear in the winter, with no pockets. It is a lot cheaper to get this! I love it! As a lot of other reviews have said, it does run small. I bought a Large, it is a bit snug at the bottom of the elastic, but not anything that bothers me. The material is very stretchable and balls fit in there nicely! I am very pleased.

I have never played with someone else using one but I can't live without it. Works so much better than using your pockets.

Fit was as described. Didn’t show under my t shirts when playing tennis and could leave my shirt down so as not to expose my tushy Quick tuck in. Quick access to tennis balls. Can tuck in either side or back. Simple wash and dry. Much easier than trying to tuck a ball into one of those clip holders. Great when your pants/ shorts don’t have pockets.

What a great idea this would be if it had worked. Sadly, the tennis balls kept falling out of the fabric. It needed a pocket. The stretch nylon was too loose to keep balls in place. Women’s tennis weAr should have pockets!!

My husband and I play a lot of tennis. We are on the courts for about 2 hours/day, 6 days a week. We live in Texas, so it’s very hot, we have temps in the 90s now. You can imagine how often I’m doing laundry. 😊 I’m often not left with the perfect skort/shorts that can hold balls (just wearing whatever is clean). And even my best ones, only hold 1-2 balls. Meanwhile, every single pair of my husband’s shorts have pockets that can hold 5-6 balls. I looked for a way to hold balls and not hinder my performance. I needed something unique to wear over any type of bottom. This hipster ball band looked good, I figured 3 balls was great. Well, I used it today and I was thoroughly impressed! First, it was the perfect fit, felt secure but not too tight. It looked like part of my shorts (a black band) when empty. I repeatedly held 6 balls in this band. 4 fit across the front, and although the balls were touching, I could quickly and easily pull one out while the rest stayed put. I could have fit the same, 4 balls, across the back, but I only kept 2 there. I bought a small and I have 32” hips and it was so comfortable, I didn’t even notice it there. I was able to play an aggressive game, running all over the court, and the balls not only stayed put, but were held so comfortably that I had to feel or look to see if I had any balls left. Really great product and idea.

I have just started playing tennis with and never have pockets! This is fantastic! I got the size small (I’m size 8/10) and can comfortably fit 4 balls in (either 3 on one side or 2 on 1 said and 2 on the other) very good and comfortable to wear

Solves the purpose for what it is meant. I am using another same for the last 4 years. Its awesome
