Great (in conjunction with an Action Replay) for dumping games and copying saves to a PC.

This adapter works just fine with both DOL-001, and DOL-101 GameCubes. I've tested this adapter with a myriad of SDHC cards, and all of them have worked fine. If you plan on using this adapter to boot in to Swiss via an Action Replay, make sure your initial SD card in which you load Swiss from is no larger than 2 GB. If you use a save state exploit, you're in a better position, as you don't have to swap SD cards after boot. Obviously, if you have a DOL-001, the SD adapter that attaches to the console's second serial port can save you the need to swap cards, but if you have a DOL-101, there is no such second serial port. In regards to throughput, loading games via this adapter works just fine.

Came on time, exactly as described and fits perfectly for SD and Micro SD cards (Using an SD adapter of course) into the memory card slots of my Gamecube. If you are familiar with Gamecube Modding. You know its almost impossible to get a GC loader PNP currently. So I went this route and am booting swiss off a disk. Best alternative I think for the time being! Affordable as well.

The purpose of this adapter is to pair with applications such as freeloader which allow you to boot into custom applications stored on the SD card. This device does NOT work like a normal memory card or even show up in the Gamecube data manager in the bios. I paired this with a 2GB SD card and was able to successfully play GB/GBC/GBA games using Gameboy Interface loaded via Freeloader from the Gamecube Action Replay. I was also able to load Swiss using the same method, though it had some compatibility issues with GCHD Mk-II.
