I got this basking rock for my mom’s new sulcata tortoise, and it’s been the perfect addition to her enclosure! It looks super natural, blends right in with the rest of the setup, and holds warmth really well under her heat lamp. she climbs up on it daily to soak up the warmth like she’s sunbathing in the wild it’s her favorite hangout spot now. The size is just right, and it’s sturdy enough for her to climb without wobbling or tipping over. If you’re building a cozy little habitat for your tortoise, this rock is definitely a great choice. she’s basking like a Queen!

Very good size, not good big not too small. No bad smell, I put food on it and my redfoot tortoise knows when its food. It isnt too heavy either. The quality of this is good as well.

Does as it should. Looks great in my enclosure. I have my baby red foot in a temporary 40gal glass enclosure and I placed this stone in there under her heat lamp to bask on. She went into it and ate some lettuce today. As others have said it’s thin and does chip easily so careful when handling and be mindful of placement too.

This is a nice addition to my baby tortoise enclosure. The platform arrived is as pictured and described. My tortie is using it to bask and seems to enjoy it so I can’t ask for much more than that. Under a 75 watt bulb, it kicks back 100-104 degrees of heat. I took off one star because the edges are flaking when I wash it.
