I bought these to use as caps for a keg that I plan to buy for lifting purposes. One reason I got them over other caps is the price, it is very competitive. Also, while I have not obtained the keg as yet, I can tell these will work well as the rubber is thick and robust. Recommended.

I'm going to use these to make weights for crab pots. I won't know how well they work out until crabbing season opens later this summer

This is a lot better quality than I expected. The plastic\rubber is really thick and stout. I ordered the wrong size, bought 2" needed 1.5" and the way it's made allowed it to tighten down just fine.
