These are so comfortable especially when working out. Almost 8 months since surgery and these are my go to kind of shorts at home and working out. Super soft feel and fit great

Sporty or dressy, you choose! On trend per teens.
Well, my sons say these look "drippy" which means on trend so that may be good? They are very comfortable, loose, stretchy, lightweight and have pockets! The fabric is very soft and thin/medium but not transparent. Be aware the crotchline is very low so good for long waisted folks or men or people who like that low look, perhaps that's what makes it look trendy. I got these for soccer so more of my legs are covered from sun. I am short and they go right to the top of my knee caps so may still be too short. I'm on the fence about returning them since they don't meet my function. However, I tried them on with a dressier top and believe it or not, they looked like dress culottes so I think they could be sporty or dressy depending on how you style it.

Great as loungewear
These are exactly what I needed to wear over my swimsuit to cover up my not-ready-for-summer thighs without making me hot. They are comfy and very lightweight, but solid enough that my swimsuit doesn't show through them. They would also make good pajama shorts, but I don't think they would hold up to wear and tear as regular shorts. For the price (I paid $13.50), I am happy with this purchase.

Love them!
I already ordered 2 more pairs. Super soft and comfortable. Great length - not too short, but also not long to the point of looking frumpy. I'm size 16, so they are much tighter on me - not nearly as flowy as the picture. Love them anyway!

Size 14 = XL is perfect
I wear a size 14 and XL fit me perfectly. It's flowy in a larger size. Good quality and value. Nice casual wear. It keeps you cool.
