I was told I'd have to wear old-lady compression stockings to prevent pooling and swelling in that leg. I first ordered the Large, but they only went up about 3/4 of the way up my leg and were tight around the calf. I ordered the XL and they fit perfectly. I just did a long car trip of 8+ hours and they worked to prevent swelling (I did stop every 90 minutes to walk around).Happy to have found them as they are much sheerer than the traditional compression stockings and don't look as obvious. Great price and work well.
