Encona West Indian Original Hot Pepper Sauce 285ML

Holy smokes it's hot. My wife loves it but I can't handle it. I have to go across the room when she eats it. The taste is good, I'm just weak.

I first tasted this sauce in Muscat, Oman, where the food is influenced strongly by Indian cuisine. Made in the UK, it's a blend of Habanero and Scotchbonnet peppers with mustard as a light background flavor. I was totally hooked. I looked around Muscat in several supermarkets and didn't find it, so I continued my search in the US when I got back. It is not available here, but it is available in the UK, through "Cooking Marvellous" and other vendors. So if you're a hot sauce gourmand like me, you have to try this sauce. And, if you want to buy it through a great vendor, choose "Cooking Marvellous" in the Amazon Marketplace. They ship quickly, and although it takes a couple of weeks via surface mail, it's worth the wait because the cost is very reasonable.

This is the best hot pepper sauce brand out there. I usually buy it in the glass bottle but thought I'd give the squeezy bottle a try. I found that the sauce would sometimes get stuck in the spout and other times shoot out more than I needed. I prefer the traditional glass bottle, but the taste is as great as ever.

This is the best hot sauce, and I mean HOT. Use sparingly, not the way my dear wife once did where she added an entire bottle to a batch of chili not realising how hot it was.

Since moving from the UK to the US, I’ve missed certain things - one of them being this hot sauce. Luckily Amazon has these available, one of the best hot sauces out there!

This sauce is spicy, flavorable and thick. Highly recommended.

Tried this living overseas and it is phenomenal. The spout gives it a little trouble as it tends to overspray. But I needed more than their smaller glass bottles contains.
