I purchased this to replace my 110 Lincoln mig welder. This outperforms the old welder and matches the cost. Lots of settings and adjustments. It’s a better machine than I am a welder.

Es una mala inversión compre esto y tube problemas con la spool gun no la detectaba solo funciono 2 días ahora también mig a dejado de funcionar y solo fue usado 3 veces

Easy to assemble, easy to use, all around a very nice and capable welder!

fine but short lived
Compared to my Miller 200, it was a nice machine in terms of operation. It ran impressively on 110v. I liked the range of material gauges that it would handle at .30 wire. It ran the aluminum spool gun nicely as well. However, a machine like this to lose the motherboard at 3.5 years (6 months after warrranty ended) with only about a dozen spools of wire through it, seems like a poor investment to me. Esab wouldn't budge and I was quoted $1,600 for the motherboard, which is nearly 1.5 x's the cost of a new machine. I wish I didn't waste my money on their product. But heck, Miller diid the same thing at 3.5 years. I am going to try buying the smaller/cheaper brands. No sense in supporting big brands if they won't support you.

Esab does not offer the Earn and Burn Rebate when purchased from Amazon
I love this welder. It is a great for small jobs and perfect for the hobbyist. This unit was delivered earlier than expected and ready to use right out of the box, but Buyer Beware! Esab WILL NOT issue a Earn and Burn rebate rewards card. You can only receive the rebate if you purchase from a specific list of dealers or distributors. Amazon is not on that list, nor do they tell you which dealer or distributors are on the list before you buy it. The flyer does not state this and, unfortunately, I will not be issued my $150.00 rebate card. Sounds like false advertising to me.
