The truth is that making the main decision to buy these headphones was more the price than anything else, I did not expect higher sound quality because all the "in-ear" versions of this brand sound terrible and those that have noise cancellation are null, so I ventured to buy them and I have taken a big surprise because they sound very well, bass good enough for some treble that also sound good, the good thing is that the cable is quite long, and that it brings an adapter for a larger plug, the only thing I can put buts is that it would be great that The ear pads were a little bigger and the pad that is supposed to be on the belt that holds the helmets is almost non-existent, it is not padded enough but for the price it is fine. The other reason I bought them is because I wanted to make a transition to analog because I'm listening to a lot of 7-inch 45 rpm discs and they're good for that. Don't doubt that the price is exceptional for the quality of these hearing aids. By the way, don't buy the Philips "in-ear", it's wasting your time and money, but these are great.

Bought these for my Dad to use with his tv since sometimes he finds it hard to hear the tv without blasting everyone else out of the house, these were great for him and for my mom since he can listen to his tv without making her upset with the loud volume. I wouldn’t say they are studio quality but for the purpose which I purchased them they are great. I wish the cord was a little longer, I had to buy an extender for them to get from the tv/soundbar to the couch but that wasn’t a huge inconvenience just something to think about depending on how you are going to use them.

They sound nice for a piano keyboard, but don't sound great for really anything else. The cable is weak and broke quickly (less than a year after I bought them).

This review is for the PHILIPS Over Ear Wired Stereo Headphones (the silver ones). These are good headphones. It has decent sound. I found this model to work great with my computer setup. I have it connected to a small mixer so I can share the headphones with other non-wireless devices. When the headphones are new the plastic arch feels stiff, but in time the headphones adjust to your head size. The cable length is super long but the signal never deteriorates as to stop functioning. The adjustable volume is handy and I use it often. What I like best about these headphones is the soft foam material for the headphone pads. It feels very comfortable on the ears and also it is easy to remove for cleaning. In my opinion I think it is a good wired option and for my purposes it works fine.

I have always trusted Philips brand to be quality products. I no longer feel that trust. I bought these to replace a similar headphone, also similarly-priced, by Kensington. I replaced the old ones because after years of working great, the foam ear pieces are falling apart. So now I'm doing a direct comparison of this new Philips product against the old Kensington product, and the old ones are far superior. My complaints: (1) These Philips headphones do not fit well, they are not comfortable. (2) The jack does not fit well and creates all kind of static if I barely move the wire. I know it's not the music player because other headphones don't do this. (3) The headphone speaker volume is very low. I have to turn the volume on the music player almost to max just to get a decent sound. (4) The bass distorts even at low volume level. The sound quality on these is just not good. I do not recommend these headphones to anyone and I'll think twice now before buying Philips brand.

Works exactly as expected and the extra lenght comes in handy so I can walk around the sound booth.

Products works as stated. But the packaging came in damaged, but headphone still works. I will still use it. no problem.

Bought it for Yamaha CVP 809. The sound quality is even worse than a cheap Focusrite headphone (free with interface).

Excellent stereo headphones, very comfortable and sounds fine. Grab a pair for this price, the Philips quality is there.
