Aquila New Nylgut AQ-8 Concert Ukulele Strings – Low G Tuning – 1 Set of 4, Natural Finish, Premium Synthetic Gut Strings

These are recommended highly on many sites and I have used them for years. It takes about a week for them to stretch, so assume you will have to tune your Uke often especially the first day or two, then they settle in and hold tune for weeks at a time.

These sound very nice! Just know that the low g string can have a “pedal tone” sound in certain keys, because it’s a bit louder than the other strings. If that’s not what you want, maybe look elsewhere.

I put these strings on my wife's concert-sized ukulele and really like the sound.

I use these strings on all of my ukuleles!! Best Strings available…My opinion! I understand that Martin has teamed with Aquila as well.

The low G snapped also i thought this was a set of 4 low g strings now after spending 10$ for this i have nothing left. I bought it to change only the G string. My bad. So unhappy. Also the G string is silver grey in color and others white. Not mentioned in the cover. So if you are buying these for changing all of your strings then you will have two colors. C E A in white and the Low G in silvery grey.

The low G string is coiled which is a shame it isn't stated or shown, even the packaging when received showed no detail of a coiled string - it stated the strings being nyglut and that string "4G = white" which is clearly incorrect when the string I opened is coiled and grey. I contacted the seller about this and they blamed Amazon for not allowing product editing once posted, this doesn't answer why the product packaging is also incorrect. However, for me this is my first time with a low G so I kept it to try anyway and am enjoying it nevertheless. The G and C strings have took over a week to settle with daily playing. They've needed tuning daily but have finally started to hold. Overall, lovely strings with clear colour coding for an easy setup, and they produce a vibrant warm sound. Losing one star for misinformation of the product.

Completely transformed the sound of a cheap uke with initially loose stock strings. Very nice feel and sound.

Como de costumbre mi producto llegó en tiempo y forma. Las cuerdas son de excelente calidad como nos tiene acostumbrado esta marca. No se desafinan seguido y los materiales de construcción son muy buenos realmente.

I like the classical sound of this strings.,for fingerstyle uke, it's soothing to my ears
