So the balm does something; it slightly burns and tingles, and that's what Lip Plumpers do. I can see a little difference for a short time. But this is the thing: the effect lasts very short. Maybe 30min max. If you don't mind reapplying constantly, this might be good for you.

Burns a little
Love this yes it burns a little but lips look great

It burns but it works..
Ok so I have very skinny lips and after 15 min of wearing this my lips where so plump I freaking fell in love with my lips .I kept looking at myself over and over again . It does burn like 100 needles going into your lip then my gums where hurting but after washing it off and applying some fresh aloe my lips stopped hurting. It's been 4 hours and they are still pretty plump. Get it if you can handle pain because it really burns
