Great supplement
Husband on dialysis..Loves this for every day use…Drs told him about it and it’s great. Would recommend yes!

A Palatable Protein drink
I wish it were less expensive, but the Novasource protein drinks are not overly sweet and do not turn to pudding in my refrigerator (Nepro--they make a fantastic killer pecan you can buy on Amazon. Just do not leave it in the fridge over long, like weeks. ). They also do not have the bean flavor that other protein drinks have (Kate Farms). Since I cannot find a cheaper, palatable protein drink, it is good value for the money. (I use it for my loss of protein due to chronic renal failure. I lost 70 pounds recently and was advised by my nutritionist that I better get off my -ss and quit ignoring my drop in albumen [protein] because it was going to affect my heart.) It doesn't help my energy level because of my illnesses; there is only so much a supplement can do. If you are too lazy to look up the protein content, it has 19% protein, and it qualifies as a meal replacement according to my nutritionist. It comes in strawberry and vanilla, both are not offensive to me. (As I say I say in my Yelp reviews on restaurants, food tastes are like music; you either like it or you don't.)

My mom loves them
My mom loves the daily vanilla shakes, but she's limited in what she can have because of her kidney failure. These are specially formulated for renal patients, and she happily drinks one a day.

Would Recommend
Provides a lot of nutrients while keeping in mind about health issues. The vanilla flavor makes it easier to drink.

4 stars due to the expense
Nice thick and enjoyable flaver. Options for Dialysis patients very minimal. Glad to have an option, but way too expensive to use every day.

Tastes better than Nepro
DaVita was giving me Nepro samples and I was in the hospital alot in 2022. The hospitals were giving me Nepro. I finally got a sample of NovaSource. It has a very good taste. The charge nurse told me these drinks cause diarrhea. I think Nepro does, but not NovaSource. Anyone else see this? They are both expensive, but I will continue to buy every once in a while.
