Small Foraging Toy
We have a Kinkajou and he needs to be constantly stimulated (mentally) similar to a large bird. This toy is tough but not very complicated. I am pleased that it will hold up well but it does not provide much challenge.

My parrots beak is too short
I got this for a new parrot we adopted. I don't think she was ever given toys because she did not know what to do with them. I got her this thinking she might be encouraged to interact with it because of the good motivation. Unfortunately I think her beak is too short and fat to get

caution
I am concerned that the size of the opening can be dangerous for a conure. This is the same toy as the Crazy 8s just with a different place for the chain connection.

While it isn't the best foraging toy out there
This toy is average. I put it on my Congo African Grey's play stand, and she will work to get a cashew (her favorite) from this before sticking her head in the food dish below it to simply take one, so it is clear she likes the element of foraging for her snacks. While it isn't the best foraging toy out there, it is a nice one to have in your toy rotation anyway. Most birds will figure out the process pretty quickly. Fairly easy to clean, and you can tweak it to make it more or less challenging. For instance, when I first hung it on the stand, I used an extra length of chain from another toy that broke to hang it long enough for her to stand on the perch, hold the end of the toy with her foot in the right position to retrieve snacks, and simply reach in with her beak to get her reward. Once she got the idea of how the thing has to be tilted to retrieve food, then I shortened the chain a little so she had to actually work harder to get a snack. Of course she learned fairly easily that she can stand above it on the top of her play stand, lift it up by the chain and have a reasonable chance of getting a snack from above. She also likes to hang from the chain and spin it and bash it against the side of the play stand to make noise, so it is fun for play as well as snacking.
