I’ve used the NEX Navy brand for years, but after trying this brand for the first time, I’m officially making the switch. There is a slight learning curve because the wax is a bit harder than what I’m used to, but once you get the hang of it, the application becomes smooth and easy. The shine and finish are absolutely worth it. I’ve attached some photos to show the process with just about 4 layers please keep in mind I’m not the best a shoe shining. I've had them for about 8 years, and they've seen some things over their lifetime. I started with a quick cleaning with Saphir's Reno Cleaner to remove anything that was still on the surface. After that I used Renovateur to recondition the leather. Next up I utilized a couple coats of black Saphir's Medaille d'Or cream polish on to rebuild the base color as well as provide the last bit of nourishment. Finally I wrapped up using Mirror Gloss on the caps. The end result kind of speaks for itself. The boots look, and act, almost like new.
