One of the best models i have made, i really enjoyed building it, i wish they will create similar models but with more and more pieces, fast delivery, very satisfied, thank you.

Looks amazing simple enough but the end was a bit hard

One of the better models Iโve built!
I got the product this morning and Iโm already almost done with it. I had a lot of fun with this one, it was relatively easy, at least compared to other Piececool models Iโve done. Pieces were not too flimsy and didnโt break easily. Only thing was the sheets were not labeled so I had to keep referring to the pamphlet. Also smell slightly weird but it didnโt bother me. Love it!

Metal parts unlabeled
Not cool. The metal parts are unlabeled and you have to go off the sketch paper that has the numbers for each part. First time working on this kit from this brand. A bit disappointed. From what I can tell, the lantern will be another small model. Some of the pieces are very similar but Iโm a different size. Double check you have the right pieces before assembling. Also try to place the pieces together first before you fixate the tabs as the images arenโt always clear.

Beautiful, challenging build
If you're into overwhelming details and enjoy a challenge, OMG this kit is for you. The Phoenix coronet is gorgeous! I don't recommend it for beginners. If you're new to metal models, I suggest starting with one (or four) of the Piececool cranes. The quality of the metal is excellent. It's thick enough that it only breaks if you mess up and bend a part a bunch of times. The blue doesn't rub or flake off. The gold and white pearls are cheap plastic, with many stuck together, but they look great when the build is finished. I lost several of the pearls, but it wasn't a problem. There are plenty in the kit. The pieces you're most likely to break have extra, so that's awesome. You'll need needle-nose pliers and flush cut nippers. I also highly recommend a "steel pencil" for twisting and attaching hard to reach parts. I attached a pics of the three tools I used. I normally use three or four different types of needle-nose pliers for these Piececool kits, but this time I only needed one pair. I often use a lighted magnifying glass with these kits but I used it only a few times while building the Phoenix coronet. This build took me about 10 hours. I spent an hour or two most nights after my kid was in bed. The acrylic stand looks nice. It comes in pieces with peel-off brown paper to protect it from scratches. Assembly of the coronet was fairly straightforward. By and large the directions were good. The two trouble spots I ran into are detailed below. The first 3 steps involve assembling the dome-shape. It's made of 5 pieces. One is a circle and the others are strips. The strips have tabs one one end and slots on the other end. Don't close these end tabs until you've gotten each piece attached to the one above it. The tiny flowers with pearl centers were the most difficult part of this kit for me. You have to balance two tiny metal layers on two tiny metal prongs then try to insert the prongs into itty bitty slots without knocking off the layers. After some experimentation, I chose to ignore the directions and NOT put on the pearl until I had the petals assembled AND attached to the piece. It went quite a bit faster this way. A lot of the flowers are very close together. It helps if you "close" the petals to make room to attach the adjacent flowers. Then open the petals when you're done. Really enjoyable build process & stunning when done!
