Excellent to replace baofeng battery
Super convenient to avoid charging the original battery. Please note it is not a battery, just an adaptor to directly connect to the car plug. Price was super cheap

Great for emergency use in disasters to maintain communication.
I learned early on to get one of the battery eliminator for my most often used mobile transceivers. With this you can not only work from your cars power supply, you can use this to work from your portable power supplies and operate at full transmit power. When disasters strike you have to be able to be flexible to use a variety of power sources. I attach a large lithium 12 volt battery to my bicycle so I can be out & about for extended periods of time. Bicycles will often get you places faster when roadways are blocked with debris. I have a cpvc mounted antenna above my head on the back of my bike. This gives me extended communication time from the 12 volt battery and further communication range with the better antenna. The battery eliminator is small enough to be useable, easy to use, provides a long battery life, compatible with multiple Baofeng models, and so far is quite durable.
