However, the customized filter can enhance the effectiveness of the air purifier in one specific area (e.g. odors). For example, when you install the odor remover customized filter in the MinusA2, the overall deodorization efficiency will increase. Besides the customized filter, there are 4 other filters inside the MinusA2 that can trap and reduce germs, odors, pet allergens and toxins. This is because the MinusA2 also includes the Pre-filter, Medium filter, HEPA filter and Charcoal-based activated carbon filter. We advise that you do not remove the Medium filter to replace it with another customized filter. The reason for that is because the Medium filter is in place to catch the smaller particles that the pre-filter cannot capture as well as capture the particles that are large enough to clog up the HEPA filter. As a result of the medium filter being removed the HEPA filter can get saturated faster, having to replace it ahead of time.
