Bought as a Christmas gift and my fiancé LOVES it. IF A PERSON ALREADY LIKES DRINKING WATWR This just MAKES it a SUNGLE go to (vs the multitude you probably have now) and keep them interested with its apps, colors, etc. and is a FRACTION of the price of the only other competitor.

It's not fancy. It's a pretty good quality stainless steel drink container for use with the Hidrate App for iOS or Android. Scan the attached NFC tag to record your fluid intake.

Product does not work with the app. I've had it for about a week now and it no longer works at all. Maybe it's the battery? If so, what a waste. I'm not replacing a battery every week. The "tap" function never worked as it wouldn't pair and gave an error every time. As far as being an insulated water bottle, it is that. It does keep water cold. But it absolutely fails for its intended purpose.

Hidrate makes some great bottles, but this is not one of them. It has an NFC chip that does nothing that you couldn’t do by launching the app and manually adding a bottle full of water. There is nothing smart about this version of the bottle, just a needless gimmick.

I was excited about the idea of smart bottle, which appear to don't be that advance. The design is nice, but punctually the light stopped to work after 3 days, doesn't seem to be the battery as I couldn't turn it off from consenting red light. The tap is leaking. The app does problems with the nfc as well, and the costumer service weren't helpful.

The bottle keeps liquids cold for a long time. But its a hassle tapping to log your water consumption everytime. I didn't realise they have a more expensive bluetooth model, which on hindsight would have been a better buy.

Well this bottle is need to connect every time with mobile to scan the usage via bluetooth. After time using it like normal bottle

Am Anfang funktionierte alles so wie es sollte. Man erhielt eine über die App regulierbare Benachrichtigung und die Flasche leuchtete auf. Ebenso ist das Edelstahl und der Rest gut verarbeitet. Nun kommt der große Kritikpunkt: Nach gerade einmal 2 Wochen Benutzung gibt die Flasche ihren Geist auf. Ein Batteriewechsel hilft nicht und leuchten tut sie… aber nur für 2-3 Sekunden am Start beim einlegen der Batterie. Für diesen Preis hätte ich mir etwas deutlich stabileres erhofft, das man wenigstens 1-2 Jahre verwenden kann. So ist das Produkt weder ausgereift noch verkaufsfähig. Das Design rechtfertigt allerdings 2 Sterne.

The charging of this bottle is kind of a deterrent to be honest. I like the concept but honestly after a month of using this I got fed up. Better off just using an app like MyFitness Pal to track water for free.
