## Description

DIYMAG 95 Lb Neodymium Cup Magnets - 1.26"D x 0.2"H This high strength cup magnet is made of a neodymium magnet encased inside a chrome plated steel cup. This design greatly increases the holding power of the magnet, as well as protects the magnet from shattering or damage from everyday use, allowing it to last much longer than a plain magnet. This magnet holds up to 95 lbs when held against steel surfaces when the magnet has direct contact with a smooth plain steel surface. The countersunk hole is meant for a #10 flat head screw to ensure a flush fit with the cup magnet. This magnet measures 1.26” in diameter and is 0.2” thick. Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C).

Review: Strong and useful for work - I use these on an extendable pole to magnet test a few devices for work. They work fine most cases, but if I need to test a switch that is polarity sensitive to the other pole then they don’t work, but that’s not this products fault. When I need to lean my pole against a metal wall or pipe, I’m confident the magnet will hold (the pole in question is a Solo smoke pole for testing smoke detectors and duct switches/detectors, it weighs maybe 10lbs, and I put a few layers of tape to secure the magnet)

Ces aimants sont vraiment puissants, j’ai un contreplaqué de peuplier 3/4 qui me sert de porte, le panneau que j’ai acheté est malheureusement voilé, j’ai acheté ces aimants pour redresser la porte grâce aux aimants en haut et en bas dans sa position ouverte et ça fait parfaitement la job. Attention par contre les vis fournies ne sont pas affleurantes elles dépassent très légèrement des aimants

Bought these for my MKIV glovebox since I saw a magnet kit that's sold for my car, buuut I thought a stronger magnet would be better! And it is!!! I used longer screws for the magnetic side so it could reach the previous screw holes on the top of the glovebox and used the provided screws for the door. Works great! Extra strong hold so it won't pop open if I ever hit potholes ;)
