Fun Little Flyer, Both Indoors and (Under Proper Conditions and Precautions) Outdoors
I first purchased the version of this drone that does not have a camera, and quickly desired to check out the one that did once I discovered that these pocket drones do come in "camera" varieties (I'm a sucker for gimmicky stuff like that). It handles exactly the same as the non-camera variety, which is to say perfectly reasonably for a little toy like this. The app used for recording is a bit buggy and sometimes it takes a few minutes for it to detect the camera feed on the drone, but once you get it going it works reasonably well. You connect the drone to your phone via WiFi; after powering the drone on, just go to your WiFi menu in the settings on your phone and select "4DRC..." (whatever the characters following that are), and then download the 4DRC app, hit "Play," and it should eventually show on the screen what the drone is seeing. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for it to show up for some reason, and I find that holding the drone close/level with your phone makes it happen more quickly. There are a few things I'd like to point out, just for giggles: First, when recording video, the battery life is noticeably shorter. Which power level you choose to use when flying the drone affects this, as well (Lower power mode will give you more fly time, and higher will give less). Second, as you can see in the video I took, I was able to get it to what I'm guessing was somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 - 100 feet in the air. I'm not sure it could go any higher, as the drone started to become less responsive to my controller input at this point and the video feed on my phone as I was flying became choppier. So I'm guessing this is the maximum effective altitude you can achieve with this little guy. If you don't have a lot of trees around where you live you might be able to get a fun view of the ole neighborhood while still being able to control the thing, but if you have to go above maybe 60 feet or so like I did then it probably isn't a good idea because at that altitude it starts to feel like it's gonna just yeet itself into the horizon. I almost felt my $40 of gift card money fly into the wild, white, overcast yonder at a few points. Third, the wind is also something to take into account; there was almost no wind outside when I filmed the attached clip, and even that proved problematic at points due to just how small and light the drone is, so if you plan on flying it outside then make sure there's very little to no wind outside. None of these are criticisms of mine, as they appear to simply be par for the course with a device this small and whose target audience is people perhaps half my age, but they're nonetheless important to point out to potential buyers.Overall, it's a fun little toy just like it's camera-bereft little brother. The filming/photo-taking option takes a few extra (and, at times, irritating) steps, but it's still worthwhile if you have $40 to blow on something and you take glee in commanding a tiny quadcopter in your spare time.

It's garbage
It flew once. The app doesn't work well and if you finally get it working smoothly for a few minutes, the drone does what it wants. It frequently just drops out of the sky. It can be controlled somewhat but not for long enough to figure out exactly how why or when. I read the manual thoroughly to avoid accidents. I put on the prop guards and got stoked. On flight three it fell and I lost one of the batteries. I can't return it, I waited months to get it as it got tied up in customs and after 3 flights have not used it again.Of all the disappointing purchases, this one may take the cake as the very worst. My grandma ordered this pistol as a child from a catalogue. She said it was like 25 cents and it had a pearl handle etc. etc. When it came it was cardboard. She was so disappointed. Technically, it was what it said, but it wasn't really because it didn't do what it should have.If you buy it you're stupid. Drones cost more than $40. I literally just wanted a mini drone for the dogs to chase because they like barking at birds and thought the camera and ratings were cool. Trust me. Do not buy!

This little one is cool for inside but I wanted to make it sturdier. Not FVP worthy
So couple little things, the supplied prop savers come off very easy. Props aka blades stay on nice. I glued the prop savers on and haven't lost another as it came with an extra. I used liquid model cement instead of superglue and I think it gives a little without breaking that way. DO NOT expect a good fpv experience it's very choppy and you should use line of site. I love the flight stabilization (meaning it will hover without touching the controller INPORTANT PART as long as you center the gyro with the lower left button for a few seconds after binding) that does not come with quads this price/size. All in all after adding a couple dabs of glue 5 out of 5(BTW it wont fit in the transmitter/controller after that). Recommend kids and adult kids ;) P.S. the box makes for a good landing and take off pad for the gyro.

Outstanding
An awesome little drone. The camera is not the Greatest but overall a durable reliable fun toy.

DRONE ENTHUSIAST!!!
So I love this little guy! I get comp battery for writing this review, but I would have written one anyway because I REALLY love this drone! I’m an avid drone flyer. I have 6 models, from the crummy Atom 1.0 mini drone all the way to the big dogs with 4K and GPS, and super cool features, and for $30 bucks, you absolutely will love this drone. If there are any negative reviews on this drone, it’s probably because they aren’t quite experienced just yet. But I’m having just as much fun flying this drone as I am my $400.00 ones. Just buy it! The only feature that I can’t figure out is the “trajectory flying,” there aren’t any instructions on YouTube or the manual on how to accomplish this feature??? Oh well. Also, you can fly it using your smart phone, but you’ll find it’s much easier and will get a better response from the r/c itself. Trust me on that! Also, description states that you will hear “beeping” from the remote when battery is low, and my remote doesn’t beep at all, but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. The precision on the hovering and flying in general is EXTREMELY impressive for such a tiny drone. Great job 4DRC!! And thank you. Hope it holds up a good while...unlike the Atom 1.0!! Spend the extra $10 TRUST ME!! Oh, and the photo quality of the teeny tiny camera on it, is indicated on the pic of my little doggy. 01/22/20 approximately 1 week after purchasing I’ve already had to have a replacement drone sent. I still stand by most of my “previous” review, but for the same money you can get the Holy Stone HS300 and the video quality is much better. This little guy is a lot of fun and will fly the 10 minutes as described, but after a few uses, it’s response to the r/c is less and less accurate. Also, I’m afraid I just can’t get over the video and picture quality. Plus, the third party selling this left a card saying I would get an extra battery for an honest review, and they never sent it. I look forward to flying the Holy Stone drone once it comes in as their products are always reliable and never disappoint in quality and customer service. Still a great little drone to get your fix, but not quite what I’m wanting it for.
