It's not overly sour, it's not syrup-y, it's like perfectly balanced flavor of cherry juice just like whatever fake version you ever had in the USA made with sugar and corn syrup, except this is the real thing and it still tastes wonderful. Fell in love with sour cherry drinks during the trip, so when I got back to the States I went looking on desertcart. Most products were ridiculously expensive and not worth buying, however this was the exception. The juice is the same combination of sweet and sour that I remember from Turkey. It isn't watery or weak and the taste is right - exactly as I remembered. I am something of a cherry aficionado so I would know if this product was defective. It isn't. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I'm wondering if people are confusing this drink with pomegranate juice (which is much sweeter and heavier)? Either way, I will be ordering more as I'm now a sour cherry addict!
