Electric Razor for Men, Series 3 310s Electric Foil Shaver, Rechargeable, Wet & Dry

The Braun Series 3 310s is an excellent choice for a reliable, budget-friendly electric razor. It gives a surprisingly close, comfortable shave for the price point, and is particularly good for those with sensitive skin. The Wet & Dry feature is a huge plus for easy cleaning or shaving in the shower. While it might take a couple more passes than a high-end model, the long-lasting battery and quick charge make it incredibly convenient. Highly recommended as a solid daily shaver or a great first electric razor.

for the price its a good quality razor that delivers a smooth shave. ive been a shave cream and blade razor shaver for 20 years since i have sensitive skin on my neck that used to be susceptible to irritation, even with preshave oils, from electric razors so i stopped using them. i took a chance on this since it seemed like it was priced affordably and wouldnt be a huge loss if it didnt work out . i was surprised-the foil head pivots smoothly and gives you a close clean shave as long as you move slowly and pay attention to the direction your hair grows. afterwards i didnt need any lotion and didnt have any irritation. i took off a star because it works well on short stubble but pulls a little on longer hairs if you dont trim them down in advance or wait too long to shave.

This Braun shaver is very good. I can shave fast and have a clean shave. I can shave 4 shaves with one charge. I like that.

This gives a pretty close shave for an electric razor. Electric razors never shave as close as manual razors but this one almost does. Foil razors have trouble with longer hairs, as the tip of the hairs must end up in the tiny holes in order to be cut, but the middle blade does a good job of taking care of that. Battery life is decent, mine needs an overnight recharge about every other week when I use it ~5 minutes every day. (So maybe about an hour of total time) By far the best feature is that genuine replacement foils are significantly cheaper than for any other shaver I've owned. It's worth paying more for the shaver itself when the consumables are cheaper, as it saves quite a bit in the long run. The foil that came with it lasted probably about 6 months, long enough that I don't actually remember. My shaver has also survived being stolen by my offspring, misused on polyester animal hair and subsequently thrown during the ensuing high speed chase. It also does not work well on the top of the head, but is unfortunately highly effective on eyebrows. (Keep out of reach of children.)

Felt I should leave a review after nearly a years use of this shaver. Had bought this shaver last September to replace a Philips that had became annoyingly slow which made things a bit difficult when trying to get ready for work and be out the door a certain time. When the shaver was new it provided a very fast and close shave way better than the Philips that I have sitting in the closet now, or the older Braun's that I had in high school and college. This shaver is easy to clean and maintain, replacing the head very simple. However as I used the shaver more and more started to notice little things. The shave was not as close as it was, started seeing hairs getting missed and if it was thicker or long would have to go over multiple times to get them. Replacing the head would take care of this problem but would start right back up a few months later after some use. When I was looking to replace the Phillips had found the Braun to be the most affordable at the time. 40 bucks is not that much in the grand scheme of thing but when you add the replacement head that was around 20 bucks at the time the cost starts to add up. Especially if you continue to use the shaver and have to replace the head every 4 to 5 months when the shave is not as good. That said I am not sure about long term use of this shaver from a battery life standpoint. I use this shaver 2 maybe 3 times a week and this morning my Braun had died. Worked fine yesterday and the days before but today not so much. This was charged on Monday thought maybe because its older that the charge did not last as long. Tried to charge the unit up and would not charge so in the garbage it goes. Hope this is a one off situation but thought I would add that in especially if you're thinking about getting 2 units at the same time.

I have been using the Braun Series 3 razor for about 10 years now and am mostly happy with the job it does on my face. My only complaint is with the replacement blades. The blade that comes in the new razor seems to last quite a few months before needing replacement and I do use the appropriate Braun blade. The reviews of how long the blades last are all over the place from several months to well over a year. My own experience is I can tell at 9 or 10 weeks that it is starting to drag. Cleaning the blade helps but the replacement package says should last 18 months but other users don't seem to be getting that amount of time. Good razor other wise.

Needed really quickly, after hospitalization in ICU. Husband normally uses regular razor NOT Electric/rechargeable type. This was so difficult as need for shave does not stop for men and it gets VERY UNCOMFORTABLE in a Rigid Neck Brace. Delivery took 2.5 weeks to arrive. TERRIBLE SERVICE. item itself is good but doubt it will stand up to rigorous use. I have had a ladies Braun shaver in past so that why I ordered this particular Razor for my husband. Moral of the story if item not available please say so prior to ordering.
