Warning! this product is not suitable for a solar pool cover. I have had my cover for less than 12 months neatly rolled away on a reel and the plastic material is breaking down. The plastic has become very brittle and is crumbling in my hand. The supplier refused to replace or refund the product as they said they only cover the seams coming apart which is disgusting. So the material can deteriorate in my hands so long as the seams don't come apart. Stay well clear of this supplier they are not reputable

I purchased this solar cover only because of the grommet feature. Product picture and grommet description is misleading. Grommets are NOT "included" but mailed separately via USPS and arrive later than solar cover. Buyer must hammer the grommets into cover per instructions. Grommets look very large in picture but are only about the size of a quarter. If/when installed per instructions, they are useless due to: 1) miniature size, 2) when picking up solar cover, grommets in corner cover are in your hand; therefore, serve no purpose to release any water and do not make lifting the cover any easier for water to pass through. I do not recomment this product and I will never purchase from this seller again because the description/picture is not entirely truthful.

I sent this back without even taking it out of the bag. It's paper thin. My fault when ordering because I didn't realize there are different thickness covers. They did NOT fund my money 100 % I do like Sun2Solar covers but NOT this one !!! I ordered a 1600 series from someone else.

after 2 month, I found blue bubbles all over the pool it just falls apart. very poor quality.

I wasn't sure if a solar blanket would do what is truly said it did. And I was worried all the bubbles would come off, as some reviews say they did. I took a chance and bought it. We have used it since January. It helps keep the water warm, even if the temperature drops on some nights and I have yet to see a single bubble in our filters, or in our pool. I am very glad we purchased this product.

Best $100 I've spent this year! We rented a house with a pool and found out that it wasn't heated. We didn't want to spend a bunch of money to heat it and our pool guy recommended this type of cover. Our pool was a frigid 63 never seemed to get much higher, even after a heatwave in October (we are in Southern California on the Coast)I purchased an 18 x 30 about the size of our pool and it was very easy to lay out over the pool and then trim the edges to fit. We used the scraps to fill in two areas that the big piece didn't cover. Cutting was extremely easy! This could have been prevented if I had ordered the next size but this was cheaper and worked great. In just two weeks, our pool is up to 78!!!! We actually got to swim in it this weekend. Took less that 3 minutes to take completely off and then back on. I'm pretty confident in the coming weeks, it will continue to rise. We were also surprised that it didn't try to fly away with our Santa Ana winds. It did rain a couple of times and no issues with that either. I purchased the blue because although we hadn't been using the pool, it was still a beautiful blue to look at. Now the cover is an even prettier blue so still looks good. I read a few complaints about people saying theirs was falling apart after a couple of years. I wouldn't care if I had to replace it every year. For $100, well worth it and i'm sure cheaper than alternative methods for heating. Definitely recommend and would buy again.

We cut the cover to fit our pool like the directions say, but the cover moves in the pool while the filter is turned on and then starts to sink. We have our jets on the floor of our pool and the change direction every 5-10 minuets depending on where they are located in the pool. Very annoying as I have to adjust it every day and get as much water off the cover as possible because all the water evaporates out here in Arizona. We now have greater water loss to evaporation than we did before the cover. But it does help keep the pool about 5 degrees warmer than without the cover.

Due to another review on here, I bought this for my Intex / Bestway / Costco 9x18 above ground pool.So far so good. The Intex brand cover fell apart after just over a year....little blue specks of plastic EVERYWHERE!I'll report back in the summer with a better long term review.***UPDATE*** In June 2017 (6 months after purchase) the seams have fallen apart. I am in the process of contacting the seller to get it replaced under warranty. According to other stores, the 12mil blanket has a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.As long as this process goes smoothly, I still recommend this cover. My kids were able to swim in warm water almost all winter in San Diego.
