I use this in my dogs home made food, it is so easy to use and has no smell or flavor (I tried a bit to test it out). Due to there being no taste, my dog easily eats his food with no fuss and enjoys it. Fantastic quality, there is a lot of product so it will last us months. I believe it also helps with my dogs occasionally itchy skin since he no longer has any issues, although I also rub a bit of organic coconut oil on his fur after each bath which makes his fur so soft and is a natural flea repellant. The texture is so fine your pup won't even notice it, so in my opinion it's better than crushing eggshells yourself since it is not only time consuming but it may not come out as fine of a powder as this product. Your dog will love it and thank you later! Remember to consult a vet and/or pet nutritionist before giving your pet any new supplements. Note: I use this product for my pups food in conjunction with other supplements.

Our beagle has lots of allergies/intolerances to food. We have been buying her kibble for a couple years before I looked at the ingredients. When I saw the about of junk that is being put into dog food, I decided to begin making my own. To be sure her nutritional needs are met, I began adding this eggshell powder. I guess it's possible to make your own with eggshells but, this is much more convenient. She doesn't even notice it there so it must taste good. She eats it right up. It's soft food so it mixes right in. I've noticed her energy level is much improved. Whether it's the food itself of the powder, I really can't be sure. I'm glad I found it and it's not expensive. I only use a small teaspoon in 2 pounds of beef. I will continue to buy this along with cod liver oil to keep our girl healthy.

calcium for dogs is very important and my dog has arthritis so I use it as an additive in his food. Clean product and easy to apply.

This is an excellent product to ensure that our dog receives enough calcium. We add it to homemade dog food. Simple easy. No mess grinding egg shells. Good value. This size container has lasted for months and easy to store. Will buy again when needed.

I bought this for my dog because I feed my dog homemade food and someone told me that it needs some calcium so I started doing it myself but then I got so tired because even though I grind it is still a bit harsh so I bought this and man I’m telling you my dog loves it barely feels it. It’s so soft. Helps my dog coat and joints.

Great for home made dog food. Very finely powdered so it easily mixes in. No odor. It comes with a scoop but neither the Amazon listing, the scoop nor the label tell you the volume of the scoop. Seems to be a tsp. Depends on what you're feeding but for me this will last about 4 months and I'll buy it again.

This is a good product that I will continue to use. I make my dogs food and add this daily, as I feel its benefits are important. No issues at all with any kind of stomach upset!

The company seems to have some quality control issues. I ordered this product for my dogs home-made food to help balance out their needs. The first time I purchased it, it came pale white and odorless. I used the entire container over a month or so and had absolutely no complaints so I ordered it again when it ran out. The second batch was discolored (an orangish-yellow color instead of pale) and had a strong unpleasant smell. Against my better judgement I used it thinking it may be within a reasonable level of variance for the product but was then up all night with my dogs as they had explosive diarrhea repeatedly. I cant say definitively that this product was the cause but diarrhea like that is unheard of from my dogs and the timing is too suspect. I will be seeking out a different calcium supplement from now on.
