This achieves all those things . However, the reason I can't give this bottle 5 stars is because it will leak from the top if the liquid is sloshing around (I keep it in my backpack side pocket) UNLESS you tighten the lid super tight. This is what I've learned to do, and it's not a big deal at all. I still really like the bottle and continue to use it daily. My instinct is that the sacrifice of 100% stainless steel is some less sealing at lid.
