Pricy, but worth it
Great toasty warm jacket with lots of I intelligently placed pockets to help beat carry on limits. Perfect for winter travel or for cold airplane cabins. Just wear a light tank top under it so you donโt overheat in the summer. Super soft, durable and comfortable to wear.

Travel Game Changer!
This SCOTTeVEST Glow Hoodie is seriously my new favorite thing. It's lightweight, fits like a normal cute athletic zip-up (not boxy at all), but then you discover those 18 hidden pockets and it's like whoa โ passport, phone, cards, and lip balm all disappear without making me look lumpy. Wore it on a recent trip through airports and felt so secure ditching the bulky purse. Washes great, doesn't pill, and honestly looks stylish enough for casual days out too. Total lifesaver for anyone who hates carrying stuff.

So many pockets!!
Oh my gosh, I have raved about this jacket to everyone I know, because I Love how many pockets it has! As a female who is a victim of clothing only coming with teeny tiny girl-pockets - or worse, fake pockets - I deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness that came with the pocket designs in this jacket. I know itโs expensive, but there is no other jacket like this on the market, and I will gladly invest in more of these when I can budget for it. My Only complaint is that sometimes I find the jacket itself (empty) is on the warm-side. Which would be great for winter travels, but I was traveling in the summer - to countries where winter doesnโt exist - so I wish there was a lighter version of this jacket for those hot days! Especially traveling on a plane, it always seems to be hotter with all that body heat from everyone on the plane. I fill this baby up with all my gadgets, easily take it off for security (discreet enough to prevent pickpocketing valuables from the screening line), throw it back on to get through the gate (without it counting as a another bag), and strip that sucker right off in my seat (so I donโt sweat and stink up the person next to me). But think of it this way, the quality is great, Iโve had it for months now, taken it on a handful of trips already, packed full, and it is still holding strong without any damages. I think if it were any lighter, you might miss out on that durability, so Iโm content with it as-is. But if it did come in a lighter version, I would still buy it for those summer vacations and just keep in mind what I store in the pockets so itโs not too heavy to rip it. One thing to note, you probably do want to size-up, because when you pack it with everything it does get tighter, so if you want to be able to zip it after then get a larger size. Iโm normally a small, border-line XS, and I ordered a medium and it fits great. My mom is normally a medium, and when she wears this packed it is tight on her, she can barely zip it. But she also loves the pockets, and my dad feels left out of the experience, so Iโll probably buy them each one as a gift (sized up). One thing that is interesting concept is the zipper goes all the way up, so itโs nice to take a nap in if you donโt have an eye mask; however, even a size-up, when zipped up it presses against your nose, so itโs not actually comfortable enough to nap in. If they made the hood alittle oversized, so that itโs not so tight when zipped, then this would be a great concept and I could see myself using that feature more on those overnight flights. So overall, itโs not perfect but I would definitely buy more, and recommend it to others. Like I said, thereโs really no other jacket like this with this many pockets, so itโs on another level compared to others. The company is definitely doing something right here, but has more work to fine-tune The Perfect product.

Size up if you tend to fill up the pockets.
Iโm 5โ4 about 145 lbs and I purchased a Large. I also have the black in Medium. And I have the fleece Chloe hoodie in a purple Medium. I have many other of their products and so far this is my favorite. I am not a purse person. I feel it makes you a target for theft and I tend to fill the purse up, so it will be heavy. These jackets solve that problem. I put travel lotion, a travel tissue pack, travel perfume, lip gloss, some floss picks, a pack of gum, and a pen in the pockets for every day wear. For air travel or road trips I add my passport and some cash. I sometimes wear my phone on a bandolier โropeโ or I will put it in an inner pocket. Itโs perfect for TSA because you can keep your phone, keys, and important documents zipped up in the pockets and organized instead of loose and then struggling to get out of the way on the other side of security and possibly leave something behind or cause a log jam. Same goes for once youโre on the plane. I have everything I need in the pockets (a charging cable, battery pack, AirPods, a snack, sunglasses, and all the other things I listed) so I donโt need to dig around in my backpack for anything. And if itโs hot inside the plane, just unzip it. Maybe Iโm paranoid, but if we ever had to evacuate the plane, I have everything important on my person and not in a backpack that youโre supposed to leave behind in the event of an emergency. And when standing in line at customs and youโre sweating, just tie it around your waist. Everything important is still on your person and easy to access. This jacket is my housecoat, my out of the house coat, and a layering piece. I use the fleece Chloe hoodie as my housecoat during the colder parts of winter. I donโt like being cold and I donโt like not having my things on my person. I tend to put things down and forget what Iโve done with them, so itโs easier to keep things in the pockets. And during the winter or like now when itโs windy and chilly in the early spring, I wear this under my heavy coat so when Iโm inside I take off the heavy coat and still have this jacket that keeps me from getting chilled and still has all my things. My normal size is a Mediumโnot too tight, not too baggy. And that works if you donโt start loading up the jacket. I can still zip it up because it has some stretch, but I look stuffed, like a barrel. So I purchased a Large and I much prefer it. Itโs a little looser overall, but when I zip it up, I look normal. Itโs also soft and lightweight, but not cheap feeling. Itโs thin enough to wear under most other jackets, even raincoats or windbreakers, without feeling bulky. Iโve washed the medium many times and Iโve had it for over a year. It looks the same as the day I purchased it. Just take out the key slinky first or it will be ruined. And hereโs something unexpected! I had the oatmeal colored one on yesterday (as an under-jacket) in preparation to head to the park and my 17 year old daughter actually noticed and complimented me on it! She said it was โcuteโ! That NEVER happens! I think the color and the larger size were more flattering instead of my normal look of a tactical ninja.

Interesting Concept but Serious Design Flaws
Now that Iโve taken this hoodie on an extended international trip, the kind of trip I think it was intended for, I can write a serious review. Iโve looked at this hoodie for a while now, and Iโve been very intrigued but hesitant, mostly because of the steep price tag. However, I decided to pull the trigger for my trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe in August (important to note because itโs Winter in South Africa). I wore the hoodie almost every day, and made the best use of its features that I could, both for urban exploring and several days on safari. On the plus side, having all these pockets of varying sizes is a brilliant idea and for the most part, logically implemented. I can safely say I used every single pocket, even the tiny ones. The best features in my opinion: 1. The ability to securely load it up with everything I needed in my seat for the airplane - my reading glasses (love the attached lens cloth!), passport, boarding documents, kindle reader, phone, charger cords, chapstick, medication, sleep mask, wireless headphones (I used the key cord to make sure I could easily retrieve the case), credit cards, cash, and even my flat flask-style water bottle. The only thing that didnโt fit was my memory foam neck pillow. For daily/urban exploring, items like a tablet, umbrella or binoculars are too heavy and/or bulky for this hoodie - my flat water bottle was really pushing it. 2. The thumb holes (for a cold day, these were nice, although Iโm not sure the fold over design is necessary) 3. The combination of zippers and Velcro. Both felt secure and gave me lots of options. Things like credit cards, passport and phone felt particularly safe in pockets that were perfectly sized for them. 4. The materials used in construction, from the body of the hoodie, to the lining, smooth-running zippers and accessory attachments - everything was very good to excellent in quality, with lots of thoughtful details. The hoodie material itself is very good and far better than most. For the price though, Iโd like it to be a bit more like my favorite hoodie of all time from a huge athleisure line that starts with an L. Denser and sturdier. There were several notable design flaws. Some are quite serious, others are perhaps just me being picky about an item that cost more than $160. 1. First and foremost - this is a biggie and a dealbreaker for me to recommend this item overall - the main zipper. This is a little difficult to describe, and I didnโt take note of it in the item description when I bought it. The zipper is of excellent quality, but to this day, I cannot figure out why it would zip all the way from the bottom hem, past the neck to close the hood completely. Itโs totally inexplicable. Itโs not as if youโd ever want to zip it tightly over your face! Whatโs more, this major design flaw makes it possible to lose the zipper slider piece, (whatever that is called) entirely if it is run from one side of the hoodie all the way to the other side - it slides right off. I washed it when I got home and had this happen. Fortunately it didnโt happen when I sent the hoodie out to be washed by a hotel. If it had come off then, I wouldโve never seen it again. If this design is ever updated, and I hope it is, this zipper needs to be a two-way zipper. Iโd buy this hoodie all over again if they made just that one change. A two-way zipper that ends at the neck. 2. The lining, where all the pockets and gadgets are located, is only in the front half of the hoodie. The back is unlined, and therefore itโs uneven in terms of warmth and wind resistance. Making the hoodie completely lined, would not only add the possibility of one large rear pocket perhaps, but it would also even out the weight and effectiveness of the garment overall. 3. Another change Iโd like to see, and while this may not be standard, it would be extremely helpful - if the two outer hand pockets, which zip from bottom to top, were instead to zip top to bottom. It would then be possible to zip them closed one-handed and more quickly than closing bottom to top which requires two hands. For securityโs sake, it would be nice if it was just a one-handed operation. 4. Again, I liked the thumb holes but not the fold over cuffs, mostly because I donโt care for the gray cuff lining that shows when theyโre folded. I bought the white hoodie because it was the only color offered that I didnโt completely hate. I was worried that it would end up looking grungy (remarkably it didnโt. I did wash it once over the period of three weeks) but the gray trim is unattractive in my opinion. It would be nice to see these hoodies in better colors overall. These colors look very dated to me. 5. There are several gratuitous but intentional holes, loops, etc. in the lining that I couldnโt perceive any use for, and none of the labels or description offered clues as to how they were to be used. Generally speaking, these design flaws, in light of the cost of the hoodie, would be enough for me to want to return it, but as I wore it daily for nearly a month, I imagine thatโs not possible. I do hope that the manufacturer will consider updating this design, as it is a brilliant idea, but flawed in execution. As I mentioned before, steep price aside, if some changes were made, Iโd buy another one.

Size Up!!
I bought this jacket in 3 sizes to find the right fit. While my normal size Large fit and looked good, once I put anything in the inner pockets, it was a lumpy, bumpy mess. So, I went up one size. Again, with empty pockets it looked fine, if a little big. With items in the pockets, however, it was a lumpy, bumpy mess like the smaller size was. Not one to give up, I returned that one as well and ordered a new one 2 sizes up from my normal size and success! Empty it is too big, but with items in the inner pockets, it is no longer a lumpy, bumpy mess. My sister and I are going to Italy in November and I am excited to have this jacket. No purse to schlep around and no worry about pickpockets since everything will be on the inside. I liked the coat so much that I have ordered a vest so that I can have the inner pockets in weather wear the jacket is not needed. It is expensive, but I think it is well worth it for peace of mind while traveling.

I normally wear a medium but got the large (made in China) and it was perfect. Size UP
Everything about this jacket is top notch. About half the pockets are small (one for a pen, for keys, for ID cards, and only about half have zippers which is just right. The only disappointment for me was that I expected a big pocket in the back somewhere...inside or outside (say for your scarf or something you bought shopping); but there was none in the back. There's really no pocket that's really big (I was hoping to completely eliminate a backpack). This will be fine to eliminate my purse since I mostly carry 2 pair of glasses, money, credit cards, lipstick, comb, and phone. The jacket itself is really a flattering style. I'm 5'5" and weigh 135 and the large was perfect. It tapers just ever so slightly at the waist (I don't have a little waist) to give a very flattering look. The material is not your typical polyester...I don't know what they did but it feels like some natural fibers in there. It's thick enough to be sturdy and warm but not chintzy. I love how the sleeves of the white one have a turn-up feature (where I usually get my jackets dirty on a trip). It's great to hide dirt and wear AND accent the inside of the same-color hood. The zipper is sturdy. I really like it.

Well made with loads of pockets.
This hoodie delivers what it promises. It has loads of pockets. There's probably a pocket that will fit your every need, and also a bunch of extras you don't. The hoodie has loops for threading earphones down to a device in your pocket. This feels a bit out date to me, since like many people, I know favor wireless headphones. Likewise there is a pocket for a camera and extra space for memory cards, something I haven't used in 10 years. That said, any highly specialized organizing system can't be perfect for everyone and too many options is probably better than too few. The quality of the hoodie is high. The weight is pretty heavy and I wouldn't be inclined to wear it on any day over 75 degrees, even above 70 would be a bit too toasty. It has some odd features which I assume are meant to be fashionable. The "infinity zipper" is the most puzzling -- the zipper runs all the way up the hood, so that you can zip it shut. I dislike this as too strange and useless a feature. I'm also not fond of the sleeves which are meant to be cuffed. The problem is that the material is already quite thick making the cuffs cumbersome. As a 5 foot 3 person, I often find sleeves too long, which is the case for this hoodie (I purchased a medium). I usually roll sleeves up to deal with this, but since this piece already has quite thick sleeves rolled at the cuff, double rolling them is awkward and uncomfortable. Leaving them unrolled leaves me with sleeves that are far too long.

Great travel jacket
A quality jacket, with amazing inside pockets to fit everything,no longer need to take a handbag. It's a great jacket for travel, especially if you travel with only Carry On luggage.

The best travel jacket so far
Stylish, sporty, comfortable, practical and just enough pockets. I got XL to allow for bulkier items and its perfect. The other vest without sleeves was way too big in XL.
