I didn't notice some relief and being the fact is homeopathic gave me some peace of mind. I have used arnica gels which helped on Direct contact of the area so I was hopeful that this would work better, but it still took enough of the edge off where I could cut down on the amount of Tylenol or my prescription pain meds on a daily basis. So in effect, they work, but I was expecting more. Absorption is quick you place under your tongue and it dissolves. Taste kind of sweet like sugar

I bought this in an effort to help my cat who has stomatitis, which is a painful mouth sore condition with no real cure. This cat has a tendency to react badly to very simple things and his reaction to Traumeel was no different. This product actually made his mouth sores worse. However, at the same time that I tried giving it to our cat, I had pulled my thumb exercising and decided to try it on myself before giving it to our cat. My thumb hurt enough that I was having trouble gripping items and it was difficult to type. I took exactly one tablet in the late afternoon. Within a couple of hours, I could feel my thumb start to improve. By that evening, it felt even better. By the next morning, my thumb was completely back to normal and I was typing away for most of the day. I suppose this is what gave me the confidence to try it for my cat. Unfortunately, it didn't help him. Purchased this for my 84 year old aunt who oddly also badly bruised her thumb in a fall and it helped her as well. For her, we gave one tablet a day plus used the Traumeel cream on the thumb and she was very appreciative. So while it did not work for our cat as I had hoped, it definitely worked for me.

I was recommended this by my sister in-law’s dog‘s breeder for pain in dogs. I’ve given it to my 15 year old dog as needed when he over exerts himself and limps on his front leg. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to help much for my dog. The last time he limped, I gave it to him and he was still limping the next morning so I just got a canine NSAID from his vet to give as needed instead. For human use, I tried this for a headache a couple of times and it did help a little, but not as good as ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
