First time I used it the ash was drawn right through the ash tank and into the vacuum until the screen on the ash tank was clogged. Cleaned it up as best I could and returned it. Back to using the little shovel to clean the stove. **Q: What filters does the vacuum use. Is it the standard shop ax filter?** A: Dear Vacuum use ASH filters **Q: What is the diameter of the canisters?** A: Canister is approx 10". Base with wheels about 18" and top with handles is about 15" **Q: Can you use this to connect to, say a track saw, to collect the sawdust?** A: Yes, I connect it to my table saw as well as my handheld tools such as my jigsaw and sander. Some tools require a vacuum adapter, but this hose is a standard size so no worries. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vacmaster VOC508S 1102 5 Gallon Stainless Steel Wet Dry Shop Vacuum and 3 Gallon Ash Tank Combo - Vacmaster Cloth Filter (4 to 16 gallon), VRC5, Set of 3 - Vacmaster Standard Cartridge Filter & Retainer for Use With 5 to 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/374398879-voc508s-1102-5-gallon-stainless-steel-wet-dry-shop-vacuum](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/374398879-voc508s-1102-5-gallon-stainless-steel-wet-dry-shop-vacuum) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
