These boots are fantastic! They fit comfortably, provide excellent support, and feel very durable. The quality of the materials is impressive, and the sturdy sole offers great traction on different surfaces. I also love the classic design, which looks both professional and stylish. I only wear boots, typically steel toes, and wanted something lighter. I was trying to find milsurp boots in the style I used to wear as a kid in JROTC, but couldn't find anything, and most tactical boots in the store were gaudy or uncomfortable. I wanted light, vented, and practical, and this boot fits all three. Most reviews and even the product page itself says these boots run big and to order a size or two smaller as the classic USGI boots these are based off of were designed to be worn with 2 pairs of socks, but this was not true in my case. I wear a men's 10 or 10.5, standard width. The first pair of boots I ordered, I got 9, figuring if it was still too big, a new cloud fit insole would fix it. Unfortunately they fit true to size, so I had to return and get a size 10. They fit perfect, just as my normal 10 boots do. I swapped the insole, and they're perfect. The boots actually came with a semi legit insole, with a thinner insole also included, but I tossed them since I wouldn't be needing them. Initial impresson: These are nice boots, and should serve me well as a casual boot. As I wear them in, I'll update my review, but for what I paid and what I got I am happy. I may even order a second set in the future, if I need a dress boot.

I'm pleasantly surprised with these boots. I got the modern version which is not as flimsy around the ankle. These have great traction, super light, and well-priced. As far as value, well they are inexpensive. People that don't undo the laces before pulling off risk tearing the heel or serparating the boot from the sole--that's just a given since these are not goodyear welted. IF that ever happened, Shoe Goo is your solution. No worries! The insoles are great, pretty comfy. I love the look too! I use these around the house doing odd chores. These are meant for mud, not asphalt. Therefore, the soft rubber will wear fast if you use them as your daily street boot. Treat them like winter tires: specific use for deep traction-required scenarios. They are ISO 9001 which should mean a lot about quality! That was a surprise too. And, these fit exactly like my other boots: I got the same size as normal. I highly recommend these boots. They are fantastic!

Definitely not issue quality but cheap enough for the job. If you need wide toed for weird feet, these aren't really the best until you break them in. The toe support digs into my toes but understand it takes time to adjust. I wish they were wider at the toes which makes me take a star off but overall quality is awesome! They're not like my black Cadillac's in the Corps but I guess they'll work. Walking several miles a day, it's probably best to get a fitter to make better boots, it's worth the cost. Maybe when I wear them in, they will become comfortable. Stitching and such is fine though. Easy to lace up. I have long toes and they spread wide so it could be just a miscommunication when I ordered wide, they're just not wide enough. I offer caution for that but if you have normal feet, I would recommend.

First impression: I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality, from the rugged sole, to the thick leather, to the stitching, this boot is really well made. It has an honest to God old fashioned stitched on sole, so if you ever need to resole these babies you actually can. These compare favorably with some of my combat boots from 30, 40 years ago. Please note: these are pretty roomy, even when ordering your normal size. You’ll like want to add another sole insert and definitely wear some thick moisture wicking socks when using these boots. Update: Okay…these are still a good looking boot, but the fit is problematic. It’s a bit too roomy in the vamp, and although the green nylon gives the boot the appearance of a jungle boot it offers no real support to your ankle. In essence these are pretty much a pair of low cut leather loafers with a green nylon webbing sock sewn onto the top. You have to wear such heavy socks to make these fit somewhat comfortably that it defeats the purpose of a boot that is supposedly made for a hot climate. Due to the lack of support and the odd fit these would be totally unsuitable for hiking, or even a long walk. If you want a pair of cool looking boots and just plan on sitting around while wearing them, then by all means buy them. But if you plan on using them for work or hiking, you can find a pair of real army surplus hot weather/jungle boots at roughly the same price.

There was a short break-in period — the leather felt firm at first, but after a couple days of wear it softened nicely without pinching or causing discomfort. The fit felt secure around the heel and snug through the midfoot, while the toe box offered enough room for comfort without feeling loose. Pros: True to size for most wearers Comfortable after brief break-in Good arch support for extended wear Cons: A little stiff on first few outings If you prefer extra room with heavy socks, a half-size up might work better. After a few weeks of daily use — including long walks, errands, and brief outdoor outings — I’ve noticed no significant wear or fading. These men’s black combat boots strike an excellent balance between rugged durability and everyday comfort. They’re not the lightest boots out there, but they make up for that with long-lasting build quality and a secure, confident fit. Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Highly recommended if you want a dependable combat boot that transitions well from work to everyday life. Slight stiffness at the start is the only real drawback.
