Q: Would they still be walking balloons if you put air in them? Or does helium work better?

Air = walking dogs Helium = flying dogs

Q: Do they sit up the exact same filled with air as they would filled with helium?

I blew them up with just my breath and they were floppy and wouldn’t stand up. I bought a cheap helium tank from Walmart and filled them up with that. They did NOT float away like some say, they stayed on the ground and were cute and bouncy. The kids could actually “walk” them. When it was filled with just normal air, they dogs could only be dragged around.

It comes with a Straw! So no helium or air tank needed :)

Q: do these need helium?

You can blow them Up with air but it won’t have the same effect. To get the bopping motion you need the helium. Otherwise mine just kind of laid there on the ground.
