We have had a few different pet feeders as my other half is a reviewer who gets a lot of pet things to review. We had never felt a need for one of these until we started to test them, as it didnt seem that hard to top up their dry food every day. However we were converted after trying some and realising it was one less chore to do when looking afterour 2 cats. Although the others pretty much all performed well enough, we did note that the pet libro one simply looks nicer than any of the other options we had tried. So like with the cat fountains, of which we have also tested a lot of brands, the petlibro ones are the best of the huge range you can choose from. They also come on offer regularly enough that the cost is also competitive. They are a nice size, easy to set up and add to the app, they are robust and well made and they look more stylish than their rivals. Our cats both come to the recording we have added to the device and after a few attempts a getting the volume dispensed right, they now have enough food for them to graze throughout the day, never too much or too little.

Upgraded from the Aqara version, this is so, so much better, built in camera is very good quality, the app is excellent (no subscription required) and easy to use, has a decent capacity and feels durable enough. It also allows more scheduling than the Aqara brand. the biggest upgrade for me personally is the low food alerts and it works with Homey! The slow feeder bowl is a great addition. It just works, how it should, without any hassle.

I bought it to have peace of mind because one of my pet sitter did fail my cats last time I was away and I got super worried! This machine allows me to dispense food anytime and also watch them eat. Can set a schedule too. Don't know about the dual tray, they still try to steal food from each other so I wish the trays were a bit more separate... but that's because my cats are gready. I like that the bowls are big and shallow, my cats really like space to eat. Also holds a lot of food in the tank. My cats usually eat wet food so this is to dispense when I'm away and feel that they deserve a treat or for emergencies. I do think it's a bit pricey, I would say would be a better purchase for 100£, almost 150£ it's a bit of strech since the design isn't that inventive, the quality of the camera isn't that clear and it's plastic. Overall I'm happy and keeping it unless something goes wrong, but you can get equally good products for less money.

Works well as a feeder. It's sturdy and is designed well, including the app. I bought other feeders where a subscription was required to retain any recordings, this feeder uses a memory card so you don't have to get the subscription. Card works well, I bought a massive card, 250GB, I think 25GB would have been more than enough. At first night vision didn't work. Customer service was responsive and they issued two software updates to fix. Ultimately they said the device was faulty and shipped me as replacement. They also advised me to keep the other device for parts. It works fine except the night vision. It did take a number of weeks to get to the outcome, but they were thinking it was a software problem. The night vision on the replacement works well. It's easy to change settings - feeding timer, recording options, and can instant feed if remote and no food is left. Great device and good customer service. Only negative item for me is that it is very large for my cat who only eats dry food as a supplement. So I never fill it so the food will stay fresher. Would be good to have a vacuum tank, or to fill the tank with something inflatable to help remove the air....

I have had this product for 2 weeks and so far I have had to: - Reset the feeder in the app twice - Unplug/plug countless times - Reset the feeder itself 3 times The feeder has missed feeds, keeps losing connections, does not respond in the app even if the wifi signal is strong, all the lights are off on the feeder and the camera and microphone have stopped responding. Despite sending a few emails for support I am getting canned responses related to a global issues that had impacted me too. I am still waiting for a response that will actually address my issues and provide a solution. Currently, this is a very expensive food dispenser for me to manually provide food to my cat :(

I think the feeder is great, and it looks pretty cool too. The feeder was reasonably simple to set up. I’ve had it for over 6 months now, and it’s only lost connection once. When it loses connection, the timed feeds will still release. To be able to watch back the video footage you need to insert a memory card, which took me a while to figure out. It takes batteries which are used as backup power when there’s a power outage, to keep the feeder running. The app is good and it’s nice to be able to see every time my cat goes to the bowl. You can set what times you want it to release, and the amount of portions. The function to talk to the cat through your phone just freaks my cat out, but she’s quite a scaredy cat anyway. You can unlock it and release a feed with the touch buttons on the front, without using your phone. I have moved house since getting the feeder and found it was easier to delete the device and start again. But I did get a new router in the move, so you may find if you keep the same router it would reconnect fine. It holds a good amount of cat food. I think it’s worth the price, as it’s one less thing to think about. Also handy when going away for the weekend and having peace of mind that your pet is being fed.

The app is easy to use, albeit frustrating that it's constantly trying to sell you extra cloud features. The product works well enough, it dispenses at the times we set it to, looks ok but is quite clunky/large in size. It's nice being able to watch the cats eat remotely, we have one greedy boy so it's helpful to be able to check on them whilst we're away. The actual dispensing of food is a bit of a lottery. There isn't a very well thought-through mechanism so the variance between amounts is pretty high (, for 40g we've had anywhere from 25 - 60g come out - this is pretty annoying as it's a primary basic function of the product. Additionally, the way it divides food across two bowls is really arbitary. Food comes out of the product and gets split by this thin plastic wedge (think pinball machines) but because of the angle it's dispensed at (rotating mechanism dispenses the food), it's biased a lot to one side. You can adjust the splitter angle to account for this but it's not very accurate as the variance meal-to-meal is so high. Overall it's fine for us, even with the frustrations, as something to allow us to go away for a night or two without too much worry. For regular or daily use I'd be finding another solution

Very happy with the feeder! A great option for a single-cat household. The setting-up process is a bit of a hassle but the machine is always responsive so you get used to it. I only wish that the portions were a little smaller so that I can have more control over the quantity of food. I find that for my cat, 1 portion is too little but 2 portions is too much. Nonetheless, once you figure out an overall system for your cat's food, it works out.

Depuis que j’ai acheter ce produit, plus besoin de penser a donner a manger à notre chat, le distributeur s’en charge, le réglage est assez simple et notre chat connais par coeur le bruit des croquettes qui tombent dans la petite gamelle. La fonction pile (non incluse) est aussi judicieux en cas de panne de courant. Je recommande.

Tenemos un gato en casa y usualmente le dábamos doble porción por accidente, además de que a veces nos despertaba en la madrugada para comer. Por ello decidimos comprar este alimentador automático, por las buenas reseñas y la fama que tenía y cumple EXACTAMENTE con nuestras expectativas. Llegó muy rápido y estaba en perfectas condiciones (nuevo). Incluye todo, el dispensador, un tazón de acero inoxidable, el cable con su conexión y el manual; lo único que no incluye son las pilas alcalinas, que las recomiendan utilizar para que siga funcionando si se va la luz. Al principio batallamos para programarlo, pero después de leer el manual y ver un tutorial en Youtube, logramos hacerlo y ya nos resulta fácil. Es únicamente para croquetas y tu puedes calendarizar sus comidas y porciones; hasta puedes grabarle un mensaje que se reproducirá cuando sea la hora de servir. La verdad cumplió con nuestras expectativas y nos encantó la compra. Lo único que si le faltó, a diferencia de otros, sería su uso por medio de una aplicación en el celular o una cámara en donde lo puedas ver por si llegas a estar fuera de casa o así. Pero si eso no es un impedimento, lo recomiendo 100%.
