The Dreidel Company Liquid Paraffin Lamp Oil - 1 Liter - Smokeless, Odorless, Ultra Clean Burning Fuel for Indoor and Outdoor Use (Clear) (2-Pack)

I mix this with Gulf paraffin wax to lower the melting point of the paraffin to around 105-110F for use as a hot wax lubricant for bike chains. I use lamp oil because it has a narrower molecular weight distribution than fuel kero. In winter I use a bit more kero in the mix to lower the melting point and keep the wax from flaking off the chain. In summer, I use a bit less kero. For about 1/5 the cost of commercial hot wax chain lubricants such as Silka, I get 95% of the performance. I bought this because Wal-Mart quit carrying Lamp Oil.

My old lamp had a really bad-smelling oil in it, and this oil was a world of difference in comparison. It was nice to have my oil lamp burning and my eyes NOT watering... Good product, did exactly what I wanted it to!

It burns really well, but it normally goes too quickly for what it is. It is definitely worth it and an emergency situation. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Oil burns nicely with no scent or smoke beyond the smoke from the burning material. The bottle could be a bit thicker - the bottom got dented in shipment. The top also wasn't very easy to open initially - it has both a safety ring you need to separate from the cap (much like with water bottles etc) and a child safety cap that requires pushing while turning. So trying to deal with both of those at the same time was a bit much, but I get why each is there.

I had used a HIPPY Sandalwood oil for enhanced scent in my house and learned my lesson. I almost ruined two of my oil lamps "wicks" using the Hippy oil and had to disassemble the lamps and thoroughly wash the wicks and containers so there was no residue. The "Parrifin" oil arrived today and the lamps have been burning for the past four hours without any adjustment or smell they are burning at all. Just wish I could get a nice scent to flow through the house.

I had ordered a case of parafin oil and the box had come damaged. Oil leaked every where. I contacted the company immediately. They contacted me in no time. They helped me out very quickly. I use this oil for my lanterns at my cabin. We do use a lot of it, so I will definitely be buying from them again. Best oil for my lamps. Burns well.

It's clear like water and it lasts a long time. pretty strong smell but doing a good job. very recommend it

This product arrived late, which wasn't much of an issue since I bought in case of power outages during summer storms. It is scentless, (which is what i was going for) and colorless. Seems to work just fine. A little on the pricey side but I couldn't find any locally.
