Save your money and purchase this case! My fob fell and shattered, I ordered this case and put the guts from my other fob in it and works like a charm!

Pro: fits perfectly, great price. Easy to install. Cons: feels like cheap plastic. Does not have the ford logo.

My key fob broke at the attachment point and was held together with duct tape along the sides. Buying a replacement fob from the dealer is very expensive, so I decided to buy just the shell instead; it turned out to be perfect for my 2016 Explorer. Highly recommended.

Nice key fob shell. Not perfect. The buttons were too hard to push if I used the included clear silicone button press piece so I reused the old one. So it works great with some mix and match. Like I said not perfect but gave me the needed parts to make a remote that works! I still would buy again for the price.

Perfect fit for my 2016 Lincoln MKC, all pieces fit together tight. All buttons operated smoothly and the actual key slot was secure. I would recommend for anyone needing a replacement fob case. Significant cost savings vs. going to the dealership.

I bought 2 to change out my truck key fobs. One works great. The other silver part where the keychain is won’t stay together.

It’s only a cover and doesn’t contain the electronics. I’d needed the cover and the blank key. It costed $35 at locksmith to cut the key, about 10 min process.

EDIT: Returning this after churning a new set of batteries and another set of older batteries within 1 week. The case puts constant pressure on the emergency button which will occasionally trigger the car alarm to start going off, but also empty the batteries in a matter of days. Returning this and trying another. The only part that does not work well on this is the metal keyring attachment, so you 100% should transfer that from your OEM fob to this one. The OEM ring has hooks that hold onto the internal battery board, where the replacement doesn't have the hooks, and therefore doesn't anchor as well and can be more fragile without that. My OEM front panel had chipped aroudn the edges, and my plan was to use the Ford back with the logo, but in the end it wouldn't fit as seamlessly as the new case. The only complaint that I really have is that when it comes time to replace the batteries, I anticipate it will be a massive PITA because there is no top battery lip to pry the part, and getting both edges clipped in took a bit more force than I would have preferred.

Fast shipping, product seems well made, easy to change inards, went back together well and works fine... I have purchased similar before this is the best one yet from and strength and fit point of view, let's hope it survives the occasional drop on hard surface.
