Perfect vitamin for my low carb way of eating
I'm 79 and decided to jump on the Low Carb, Intermittent fasting way of eating. Everything went really well until I got leg cramps every night. Researching the issue found that I needed more Magnesium in my diet but that's difficult because so many of the foods needed were off limits to a low carb diet. I went looking for a vitamin that would provide not just Magnesium, but contained everything needed for someone who doesn't eat enough to get the vitamins they need. I found the Myers Multivitamins and they've been perfect. I can't take the six pills a day but just two or four a day are enough to stop the leg cramps, my nail quit splitting, and I have a lot more energy.

Iron-free to support thyroid .
This is a high-potency, iron-free multivitamin designed to support overall nutrition, energy, immune function, and particularly thyroid/adrenal support. It contains activated B vitamins, vitamin D3, zinc, selenium, iodine, magnesium, and other minerals. Pros: * Methylated/activated B vitamins * Contains iodine + selenium for thyroid support * Iron-free, which is useful for people who donโt need extra iron * Gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free * Third-party tested according to the manufacturer One important downside: the recommended dose is 6 capsules per day (3 twice daily), which is a lot. It also contains 150 mcg iodine per 3 capsules, so the full daily serving provides about 300 mcg iodine. For you specifically: because this contains a fairly substantial amount of iodine and selenium, I would be cautious about adding it if youโre already taking thyroid-related supplements or medication. Also, the manufacturer recommends separating it from thyroid medication because the calcium in the multivitamin can interfere with absorption. Overall: 8/10 โ a comprehensive, high-quality formula, but I wouldnโt consider it a simple/basic multivitamin because of the high doses and 6-capsule daily serving.

Works
Gives me energy for sure, these have really helped treat my Hashimotos. I take them everyday, 2 in the morning with breakfast and 1 with lunch. 6 a Day is too much for me. Start low and see how you feel. Good quality supplements.

Didn't work for me
I have Hypothyroid and was looking for a better supplement that would fulfill some vitamin deficiencies I have. Unfortunately, I experienced a few issues with this brand: 1. Acne - After, starting these I developed terrible ''teenage'' acne. I went from super dry skin to an oily T zone. I suspect the Biotin levels were too high and having to supplement with another vitamin (Pantothenic acid or B5) just isn't worth it. 2. Brain Fog. Taking a total of 6 pills a day (lunch/ dinner) can be a headache. It's hard to remember taking these at separate times and I felt my brain fog was getting worse. 3. Hunger pains. I found myself searching for another meal after lunch or late at night. 4. Developed anxiety (loss of breath and feeling of a lump in my throat) at times. I never had this problem with a regular multi-vitamin and I don't really have a lot of stress. 5. Insomnia. Though I've suffered from this most of my life, I eventually found a few ways to resolve it. However, taking these I could not shut off my mind, no matter what I tried. 6. Loss of energy. I noticed I had less after taking them, then if I didn't take them at all. 7. Hormones going haywire. Though it could be also be the thyroid itself, I honestly believe after I started taking these supplements, my emotions were all over the place. While this may have worked for others, it did not for me. Overall, I think there's just too much of some and too little of other vitamins in this supplement. So back to the drawing board I go and taking my regular multi-vitamin in the meantime.
