**Q: The back rest looks like it is slanted quite far back, can you sit up straight with support or do you have to lean back ? Look more like recliners ?**
A: you have to lean back but not super far, they are comfy seats but wish the backs were a little higher/taller

**Q: How does the airlift hold up over time? I sat on a similar stool with an airlift at a store today and slowly sank to the lowest height setting.**
A: Literally one year to the day, the same thing started happening! I have 2 stools, he is 195 lb and his stool is fine. I am 200 lb and my stool slowly sinks to the bottom by the end of breakfast!

**Q: What's the weight max?  My bf is a big dude!!**
A: Max hight is 33' I think the Mac weight is 300 lbs

**Q: Is there somewhere that I can download the instructions?**

These stools are awesome! They are pleasing to the eye AND easy to assemble. I bought two black and two white and made a fun little eating area for my four kids. I bought a set of bar stools off of Amazon on February 28th, 2019. I received the order on 3/4/2019. We opened the package to take a look at them and immediately noticed that both of our bar stools had defects. On bar stool number 1 there 2 gashes in the back of the chair, the "collar" (silver covering for the bottle of the stools) was shattered when I took it out of the packaging, and there are breaks in the seams of the bottom of the chair. On bar stool number two there is a black stain on the back of the chair... it doesn't show well in the picture, but it's very noticeable in person. Overall I LOVE the look and feel of these chair and would like to chalk this up to bad shipping (both stools arrived in the same box without any support such as Styrofoam to keep them from gouging one another). I just emailed the company for replacement parts and if all goes well I will order a second pair of these because they are gorgeous! I will update the post when I get this resolved. (2 star review) Update 4/19 This company was gracious and sent two more seat replacements so I'm pleased! 😊 I have updated my review to 4 only because they should change their shipping methods to avoid customers having to wait over a month for their products that they expect in 2 days. The product is amazing though! I would definitely reccomend in hope that I was just unlucky
