The reason that this adapter is so great is because the batteries only take 45 mins to charge instead of 6-8 hours like the OEM. Used a pocket knife and the supplied hardware. WORKS AMAZING: I have DeWalt XR 20v 4amp batteries. Plugged them into a roughly 6 year old power wheels buggy and they worked with no issue. IMPROVED PERFORMANCE: The buggy is faster (careful if you have younger/smaller kids). The batteries lasted 30-40min before having to swap. I did not notice/have any over heating issues with the batteries or buggy. I swapped the fuse with a 40amp since other reviews said the 30amps pop pretty quickly. Haven’t popped the fuse yet. 100% RECOMMEND I’ve only had this for a couple of days so there may be updates in the future about longevity. However, the product is pretty straight forward so I doubt the actual hardware will fail.
