Invader ZIM Vol. 3 (3)

Volume 3! I’m a huge fan of Invader Zim, so of course, after the amazing Volume 1 of the comic and the less good, but still reasonable Volume 2, I definitely had to get the third installment.After finishing the whole thing… Ch. 1 is alright. Gir seemed way too coherent for his character, though. The rest of the chapters were pretty interesting, and the bonus stories were amusing interpretations of the characters (the standout being “Invasion” by Dave Crosland). The artwork seemed pretty good, with none of it being as ugly as Ch. 1 of Volume 2 was (thank goodness!). The humor level, in my opinion, is roughly equivalent to Vol. 1, maybe slightly less, but I’m overall pleased.Well, if you’ve already read the first two volumes of the Invader Zim comic and liked them, there’s no reason not to pick this one up. Go ahead and pick it up – you really can’t go wrong with this one!

Dib is allergic to animals, Zim finally wins (kind of) , turns out weird bigfoot hybrids like Bee-Squach and Guacc-Squach exist, and we see the backstory of Miss Bitters. Oh also a weirdly actually creepy poem.It's nice to see Zim win for once, which is the best story here. Though all of these are very fun and worth reading

The art was good for the most part, but these just weren't funny. Jhonen didn't write any of these himself, and his humor is very difficult to imitate.

Wonderful comic volume really captures the style of the tv show. About the next best thing to an actual television continuation of ZIM.

Yet another amazing entry for invader zim!Just makes me want more eps even more now!

Der Comic hat eine wunderbare Qualität. Kräftige Farben, dickes Papier - nichts scheint von der anderen Seite durch. Der Comic kam heil an, keine Beschädigung. Interessanterweise war er 5 Tage früher da als von Amazon angegeben. Nicht dass das schlimm wäre, ich war nur überrascht.Zu den Kapiteln selbst. Ohne zu verraten was passiert: typische Invader Zim Stories: verrückt, bescheuert, mit einem typischem Zim Humor. Einfach großartig. Werde auf jedenfall weitersammeln.

Just finished reading volume two today, here comes me reading the third volume. I need to stop myself from ordering so many things online cause there's not enough room in the house..but I can't help myself of wanting to read more comics of Invader Zim!

Gros fan de Johnen Vasquez, le premier volume d'Invader Zim m'avait beaucoup plu grâce au talent du dessinateur. Ici, dans ce 3e album, des dessinateurs aux styles très différents se suivent avec des travaux de qualité inégale. La palme de la nullité revenant à Sarah Andersen pour le chapitre 1 : je dessine mieux, c'est dire ! J'aurais déjà du me méfier rien qu'à la couverture. Heureusement que les histoires rattrapent tout ça, mais quand même !
