This is amazing and I am so glad that I bought it! The receiver on our TV is very picky and you have to be pointing "just so" or it just ignores you. I also have a speaker bar that is even worse than the TV! So I decided that I needed to buy something before the remote got permanently embedded into the TV screen. This was it and I am SO glad that I did! I love the fact that there are so many sensors to use, so you can set everything up on the one eye.The bad part of this is that the sticky for the eyes just suck, it falls off in no time. It just doesn't have any will power. It is sort of like the guy who wants to be faithful yet doesn't know how to stay stuck to the same lady. Or the drunk who only knows how to fall off the wagon. It just doesn't stick! However unlike drunks or cheating men, this IS something that CAN be fixed! I used a 3M strip and cut it to fix with a hole punch and it works like a charm!

Seems like a decent product, but the cables are so short as to be almost useless! The Infrared receiver cable - that connects to the box itself - is only about 4' long. The whole point of this is to put distance between the input and the components. Why this cable would be so short is beyond me.

Not compatible with the BAFX IR receiver as the seller previously indicated. (i say previously because I bought the product hoping to have two rooms control the AV components and the seller recommended the BAFX for an extra eye). I bought the BAFX and the seller retracted / deleated his statment. It works like its suppose to except its non-expandable to other rooms for receiving IR signals. There is no model number on it so it's hard to find compatible parts for. I am hoping the seller gets back to me with a compatible IR receiver since the wires are already fished through the wall. Meanwhile, ​I have a 9.99 BAFX receiver recommended by the seller that won't play nice with others.

Gefone IR repeater works very well. It picks up IR signals quickly and repeats them to each emitter plugged in.I used this to send IR signals to components behind cabinet doors.The only downside is that the double-sided tape used to hold the emitter in place is fairly cheap and doesn't last long. All my emitters fell off after about 4 or 5 days, so I had to place tape over each emitter to hold in place. It was a minor inconvenience to an otherwise good product.

I purchased the GIRE0108 so that I could move all of my AV equipment into a closet and clean up my TV room. I relocated all the equipment to the closet; set the IR receiver on my TV; ran the extension cable to the repeater body; set the emitters on the equipment sweet spots and powered it up. Worked flawlessly! No programming required. The repeater body is 1/2 to 1/3 the size of two other repeaters I've had over the years. I will definitely purchase this or a similar model when I have to do this again.I am including 5 pictures with this review. Product works, but not good as it should. I had to replace it with something else. This IR receiver is either small or not strong enough. Point my remote right at it, sometimes it will work or didn't. With the new one,  TNP IR Repeater Extender Infrared Remote Control Hidden System Kit - Infrared IR Emitter Blaster Distribution Extension & Receiver Cable for Cable Box Home Theater AV Component Equipment HDTV , its a lot stronger. Barely having to lift the remote to use it.

Worked right out of the box.I used an audio cable to extend the IR receiver cable so I could run it though the wall and it worked right off the bat. Of course, as one other reviewer said the double stick tape might fail, but it says 3M on it so it's not exactly cheap stuff. Makes it so you don't have to point the remote down at the stereo equipment, but can point it right at the TV. This leaves the remote up where you can read the labels on the buttons. And, you can shut the cabinet doors where the cable box and amp are located. I love it when something works "as advertised".

Two drawbacks: 1) it takes a while to get ready to relay IR commands 2) you have to point the remote directly at the sensor -- it's not very sensitiveOther that that, it works fine.
