Dr. Perl Junior 6mm Activated Charcoal Filters - 6 Packs x 30 Filters

These are shorter than a standard Savinelli pipe takes and are hard to get back out. They are meant for the Vauen Six series of pipes which are very thin and light. These also work really well in a MM cob - snug fit into the stem just like a Sav charcoal filter. I also use these sometimes to roll some velvet, the short length make them work great but they are thin. If you’re looking for a Savinelli, I would recommend you go for the Sav 6mm charcoal filters as they’re longer and won’t get stuck in your stem! Ordered from this seller a couple times, A+.

Work great but a little short. Dont push them in too far or they will get stuck in your stem!! I added a 5mm brass spacer to my stem so they dont get stuck

I use a tabaco pipe once a week. This filter is perfect. It is the right weight and perfect for my smoking pipe. You get a nice amount for the quality. I think it is about 180 pieces. The activated carbon really does it's job well. The smoke comes out super cool. It doesn't even feel like you are smoking at all. You can only tell when you exhale. It also dampens the smell to a certain degree. They are easy to use and you can get a out ten or more uses out of the filter I checked it and it didn't even have any tar or resin. These are a must buy for the 6mm size filter.

Like virtually every briar pipe that accepts charcoal filters (Savinelli, Rossi, Peterson etc.), whether 6mm or 9mm, the draw is compromised when they are used. The only solution is to widen the pipe's air hole and that is major surgery. Some pipe smokers don't mind a tighter draw but I do.

Does not fit any of my MM pipes.

Bought these for a cheap pipe I have and they fit well and do the job as promised.

They clog easy when rolling with a swisher they leak some black sticky stuff . Not a fan and won’t be purchasing again

This is a picture of what's inside, there is no cellulose acetate barrier and there's just these little bits of charcoal rattling inside, the smoke going through the filter is not forced to go through any charcoal at all, if they really wanted to get some kind of filtration going there would be charcoal powder held between two layers of cellulose acetate, and that way the charcoal layer could be full and not rattling around which would force the smoke to actually get filtered as it passes through.

These barely fit in my pipes. They have to be wiggled into place and sometimes get crushed in the process. Medico is a better option in my opinion.

I’ve used this product for sometime but have noticed the charcoal comes into the mouth while smoking. This can be really risky as it’s really small and easily ingestible.
