Since I was not familiar with it-I did some research and contacted my doctor about this product's ingredients and he was very happy with this formulation as it has the pepper in it which helps absorption. Turmeric is difficult to absorb so when looking for a great Turmeric product, I highly recommend this Zhou Nutrition Turmeric Curcumin with Bioperine 1650 mg!! It is recommended to take 3 times a day which I did for the first week or so. I went visiting friends for a few days and forgot to add my bottle of Turmeric in my bag. After not taking it for a couple of days, I noticed a difference in my pain level! It is obviously working! When I discussed this with my pharmacist and was overheard by the ladies at the counter-two of the ladies jumped in telling me that they take it daily and they too notice when they miss a day! I take a lot of anti-inflammatory supplements to reduce swelling and pain because I am trying to rebuild muscle after an injury. Pain relievers interfere with muscle growth. Anti-inflammatories like Turmeric and ginger do not inhibit muscle growth and have many other health benefits (though each person should discuss this with their doctor, as there are some circumstances in which anti-inflammatories are not helpful.) I highly recommend taking Turmeric and other anti-inflammatories for anyone in a similar situation of needing to reduce inflammation without inhibiting muscle growth. Since I have no access to a lab I cannot speak with perfect accuracy to the potency or purity of this product. It looks and 'smells' correct - like turmeric. I pay the extra money for this product because it seems to be pure and other reviewers seem to have good results with it.

This is a great product and a great seller. I have been using the product for several months with good results. This product has 95% curcuminoids as well as including BioPerin in it. The BioPeride enables your body to absorb the curcumin. I have Lyme disease and have found significant joint improvement in my hands and feet. I stopped taking it for a short while and the increase in pain and swelling was notable. It does not remove all pain and swelling but it is definitely a very good quality product and gives you a measurable improvement. I take 3000 mg. daily. I will continue to purchase this product. I am 65 years old and have noticed another very significant improvement. It gives me much better short term recall and clarity. During the time I stopped it is when I really noticed the decline not only in memory and thinking sharpness but also in increased swelling and pain in the joints in my hands and feet. My husband has also started taking it as well.

I believe that turmeric is one of those supplements you just shouldn’t go without taking every day. For me it is one of the few staple, preventative supplements, I take daily because I believe it will make a difference in the long run. The multi and varied health benefits are HUGE, even if it isn’t obvious or tangible in the moment. All that in just one supplement of tumeric! Just google the Benifits and you’ll see how it is beneficial to use for the long run. I use this brand because I use their Thyroid support supplement daily. It is the only brand that combines essential ingredients needed for people who need that extra help, supporting their thyroid. I figured... if they are one of the few that know exactly what I need, and makes sure that it’s all incorporated in one dose for my thyroid, then I will buy other things from them too! They know what they are doing! I like attention to detail and believes this company does that for an honest price.

I have been taking these Turmeric capsules from this Company for several years now and yes I can swear by how beneficial they have been for me, during this time. Since taking these supplements I have little or No ache's or pains and no creaking, stiff joints, or ambling getting up in the morning and trying to get going... Now I hit the ground running and feel sure footed and sprightly all day. However I'm concerned that in recent batches I have received I have had bottles that have a musty odor inside and the caplets have a stale, unsavory taste and not very pleasant at all when put in the mouth before swallowing. I order the bottles order in 3's. Also between bottles, the caplets vary in color from a dark mustard yellow or olive color to a more reddy brown tint. Some bottles there is loose Turmeric powder lining the bottle. So I am beginning to question the quality control and the recent unpleasant taste... enough for me to consider other brands. (All 3 bottles had this taste this time.)
