All the way around the globe is about 25.5 inches. It's not very large

does the globe spin around or is it stuck in one position?

Yes it does spin. I think this is a lovely globe for home dÃ©cor. Not too big - not too small. Fits nicely on my fireplace mantle or side table.

Could you stick pins in this globe?

I am not sure..it was a gift to my young grandson. I will see if I can find out.

As someone said its hard to see and maps dont line up?

The maps on my globe line up. I purchased several globes and this is the one I kept. I like the coloring of this one. I’m using it more for decoration than function. If you really want to be able to study the globe, I’d get a bigger one.
