I purchased navy blue in size 6. The fabric is thick and durable, and comfortable during my waitressing shifts. After it’s washed, I will steam it before I get dressed for work. My one issue, is that my butt/hips are wider than my waist. If I pull the skirt all the way up, it’s baggy in my waist but the shorts are hiked up so high. They become more like cheeky bikini bottoms. If I pull the shorts down enough, the skirt becomes low rise and the hem falls close to the knee. There is some stretch but not enough if you’ve got a fuller butt. What I DID do- because this skirt is worth it, is order the size that matched my waist (2) cut the shorts out and I just wear my own underneath. Be warned that if you cut it, you may need to sew that fabric down a bit. It isn’t a problem for me because I wear a servers apron over it at work. That being said if you’re avg/smaller in the behind this is a five star skirt for sure.

I was hesitant on purchasing this skirt for a while. I was looking all over the internet for a great pleated skirt, and I had a few traits I was looking for. I wanted it to fit my waist perfectly, I didn't want it to flare out too much on the sides, and I didn't want it to be too long. I'm 5'8, but I have really short legs, so finding true miniskirts can be a challenge for me. This skirt totally fits the bill. I'm 5'8 and 118 pounds, with a 26.5 inch waist, and I got the size 2. The fit is tight though because it doesn't have any stretch, so I probably wouldn't wear this out to a big dinner. The color is absolutely amazing though, and I got so many compliments on it when I wore it out. If you have a butt of any kind though, I would consider sizing up and taking in the waist. I don't have much, but the skirt definitely was shorter in the back because of it. Honestly, for 16 dollars, you really can't go wrong with this skirt as long as you check the sizing chart in the description carefully. I wore this with a brown tank and a gray cropped cardigan out to coffee though and I loved it, definitely my new favorite piece in my closet.

Super cute skirt, great for the price. I got the zip up option instead of the stretchy option. Be aware— the zip waist has very little stretch! I wore the skirt below my natural waist but above my hips. For reference, my natural waist is 26 inches, high hip mark ~37 inches, fullest part of hips ~42 inches. I ordered a size medium and it fit true to size. Actually the sizing was perfect. While the waistband had minimal stretch, the inside shorts are very stretchy. I have a slightly longer torso and inseam, so they rode a little high and tighter than I’d design, but not uncomfortable. I was worried I’d be dealing with a wedgie for my concert, but thankfully that was not an issue. I know some other customers cut the shorts out, and that’s certainly an option worth exploring if you’d like. I appreciated the built in safety measure, no accidental undies seen! Overall it was perfect for the outfit I was constructing, and I would recommend it! It should be said though that I also saw an identical skirt a week later at Spirit Halloween haha, though it was the stretchy version with no undershorts. No regrets though! I liked the zip, just make sure you order the right size.

The material was itchy on my skin and it was wrinkled when I opened it from the package. The size was accurate and the elastic waistband was convenient.

I’ve been seeing a lot of pleated skirts going into fall and had to try the trend. Couldn’t beat the price of this skirt and was pleasantly surprised at its high quality. It’s a pretty basic pleated skirt, zipper on the side, built in shorts underneath. I’m 5’4 and 115, wearing a size small and it’s a bit big, but not enough to size down. The length is nice, doesn’t ride up when seated. Seems wrinkle resistant, haven’t had one yet. The navy blue is a nice neutral color that I’m having fun styling. The sizing is kind of funky, the skirt I’m wearing in pictures is a small but when i went to purchase another color, the size went to numbers instead? Not sure what that is about but I will update review when i receive it. Anywho- If you’re looking to buy a pleated skirt, I’d def recommend this one! I didn’t feel too school girly and loved the look with a blazer.

I purchased this for a friend. She is about 5’7”, weighs about 140, takes a size 6-8 in jeans, and based on reviews, I ordered her a 2XL. It fits like a glove. Order (at least) a couple sizes up. You can always safety pin the skirt to take in a half inch in a pinch- but the skirt’s “fabric cut” leaves no room to be taken out. If it arrives too small, you’ll have to return it. The white is see-through if you have bright backlighting. But it’s still wearable because the attached short shorts underneath it are not see-through. There is no stretch to the skirt fabric but the short shorts are stretchy. The pleating does go all around the skirt and it’s pretty cute. It’s not quite as short as I thought it would be. It’s longer than a high-school cheerleading skirt, but shorter than a skirt that’s knee length. If you want it to be a bit longer, size up (and safety pin it at the waist) so you can wear it down on your hips a little. The zipper works well. She hasn’t washed it yet so I have no idea how well the fabric holds up. I’d air dry it on a hanger or line dry it. I’d recommend the skirt.

the fabric is really nice on the skirt and even the shorts inside are soft and a nice fabric. i wish they said more clearly that there were built in shorts coz i didnt notice it in the description and i bought separate shorts to wear under lol but its ok, was a good surprise! the shorts are not sheer for the black skirt. i am normally a 00 (22in waist) and the 0 fit me almost perfectly so take that as you will.
