Elite Gourmet Electric Burner, 1000W Cast Iron Hot Plate, 7 Heat Settings

This is a great purchase. I ordered this Saturday, May 16, 2026. It arrives Sunday morning, May 17 just in time for breakfast.I cooked scrambled eggs which it is a photo. This morning when I arrived home from work , May 19, 2026 6am This is my very first video of 15 years of being an Amazon Customer . I had to do a video on this elite gourmet product. I love this little baby right here for $16.99it a permanent-stable for my small kitchen countertop. I am a RN nightshift I’m only one person I live alone .I like to cook. I’m electronic lady I must have all the kitchen appliances just in case just like this if my stove absolutely stop working..Is easy to clean, just wipe it off with a soft cloth. I’m OCD so I keep my house neat and clean. the heat speed is excellent it I put it to three and it heats up so fast even at level 2 .. I tried it to the max level and boy it’s very hot so I keep it at three as you can see. I cook the boiled egg this morning when I came in from Work from doing a double shift at the hospital. Once I’m done, I unplugged it because I am a Condo owner , I don’t want any fires. 🔥 when you unplug it, it still is warm which is good and it takes. Maybe I’ll say about 15 minutes for it to cool off. but just be careful when you unplug. It’s still hot. I looked at was one for $52.? I was sure about until it , until it stated the OMEO only take certain POT AND PANS. I didn’t want that. I wanted one that takes all of my COOK POTS. When I looked at this elite gourmet ,My intuition and heart lead me to this one , $16.99 that’s it steal it’s compatible it may work better than to the ones I’ve seen on Amazon that’s 50-$100. I am happy with my choice.. I’m able to cook everything I want to cook my fish eggs rice spaghetti whatever I want to cook regularly I can cook it. I use one pot at a time and it is compatible to all pots. You don’t have to get the introduction one where you only could use certain pots . this work for all pots, which my pots are ceramic and stainless steel. Only if you ever have a dysfunction with your stove, please get this one right here. I’ll tell you you’re going to be pleased with it. if you have a small kitchen countertop like myself you can have one burner like I have or if your countertop is a little bit bigger, they have the double burner for $27.99. Please don’t hesitate to purchase this item. You will be satisfied.

Like many people, I like drinking coffee. I like hot, and iced, coffee, but I prefer the hot version, especially when it's cold outside. I used to put my cup of coffee in the microwave, so that I could return it to that perfect sipping temperature, but that isn't very efficient. Taking the time to go to the closest microwave is less time spent doing whatever it was that you were doing. On top of that, microwaves require a lot of electricity, even if you're just using it briefly to raise the temperature of your coffee back to enjoyable levels, but what other options are there, you might ask. I started using candle warmers a long time ago. They keep coffee warm, and they don't use much electricity, but warm coffee isn't hot coffee. I stumbled upon this Elite Gourmet electric single burner, and had to try it. Will it keep my coffee hot? Will it still be more cost effective than continually reheating coffee in a microwave? Will it be safe enough to use anywhere, or I should say, anywhere with an electrical outlet, and a table, or desk, to put it on? For starters, it definitely keeps my cup of coffee hot. In fact, I only turned the dial up to 2, and my coffee was hot. So hot that I had to turn the dial down to between 1 and 2. For me, that's the sweet spot. With the temperature dial set at 1.5, or one and a half, if maintained my coffee at the perfect temperature, for me. As for the difference in power usage, I will have to return, and update this review in 1-3 months, so please return to this review later to check for that update. I can say that I get a lot more done due to not trekking back and forth to a microwave, and getting more done, whether it's work, hobby, or whatever, is always a good thing. Lastly, is it safe to use everywhere that makes sense? The short answer is......it depends. If you have enough space to place the burner so that it's not close to a wall, or things that can melt, or catch on fire, the answer is yes, but the surface it's setting on needs to be considered too. I used an infrared temperature gun to take intermittent temperature readings under, and around the burner, while keeping the burner setting at 2 for exactly one hour. I discovered that the hottest zone, other than the burner itself, was directly under the burner. So, whatever you're using this burner for, whether it's to keep your coffee hot, or for cooking food, you need to be careful, and make sure that you turn it off if you're going to leave it unattended. Anything that gets hot enough to cook food on, is hot enough to be potentially dangerous, if you're not being careful, and this device gets very hot, very quickly. Anyway, I really like this burner. It works excellent. It's very easy to operate, it's light enough to transport, providing you wait until it's cooled down first, and it doesn't take a lot of space to use on a counter, table, or desk. It's easy to clean, but make sure to unplug it first, especially if you're using a damp cloth, or sponge, and don't use a scratch pad, or any abrasive cleaning pad, especially metal ones, like SOS, or Brillo. Please read the instructions before using it. I even think the burner looks nice. If I had to nitpick, I would like it even better if it had a digital display showing the temperature. While I have a infrared temperature gun, to check the temperature of each of the 1-Max dial settings, it would be nicer to have a digital display, so that you could see the temperature without having to use a separate device. I will say that the temperatures for each dial setting are consistently the same, after multiple different readings. It's a great product, and I'm glad that I bought it. I'm considering purchasing another one, so that I don't have to transport this one to and from places. I'll update this review in a few months, to add how cost effective it is, compared to using a microwave. I hope this review helps.

I bought this to help out during a kitchen remodel. Overall I was impressed - it is not fancy, but I was able to use it to heat up meals, fry eggs, or steam veggies. It heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly on the burner. I did notice that any pots or pans larger than the burner had a harder time retaining heat in areas not in direct contact, so I found myself using this primarily for small things. Quality was good, especially considering the price. If you're looking for a basic hotplate, this is a good option.

I was looking for a great countertop electric burner that I could use outside near the barbecue to cook the barbecue sauce or to make vegetables, etc. this is a great little cooktop burner. I find it very versatile and it works really well. Well worth the money. Good temperature control good quality heat up very nicely.

Works great as a backup cooktop, heats up fast and holds temperature well once it’s set. The two burners give enough flexibility to cook two things at once, which is handy in a small kitchen. Cast iron surface heats evenly and cleans up easily after use. Good size for a countertop, doesn’t take up much space. Would buy again. Great for small rooms

Good little single electric hot plate burner, keeps my pot of tea hot and ready to drink throughout the day. The dial is on the clunky side, probably close to an inch out, and just a little wobbly wherever you stop it. And the biggest flaw is that the indicator light only lights when it's getting up to temperature. Once it reaches it, it goes out. This means, you guessed it, I've left it on when I thought it was off and had it off when I thought it was on. There is room for improvement but it does the job of keeping foods, soups, drinks, potpourri, etc, hot.

Sits high enough up off the countertop that it will protect your countertop, remember that electric heats up slow, you can make some scrambled eggs on 3.5, grilled cheese is 4.5. Cook ground beef on 5. I’m gonna keep mine stored in the box because I will only be using it when we travel, remember to let it cool down completely before you put it in storage. Saved us $$ on a recent trip.

Lasting Only 10 Minutes

Muy útil hasta ahora, calienta muy bien, no tuve ningún problema al empezar a usarla. Hirvió bien mis jitomates para la salsa ya no me dejo subir el otro video en el que hice atole de avena, pero los dos salieron excelentes.

Works great and efficiently!! We used this to create a sort of hot pot supper, but also to have on hand in emergency situations. No complaints, easy to use, base gets VERY hot so keep oven mitts near by (it has a warning right on it). I used a place mat underneath it on the table for safe measure (it has decent clearance) and the table was totally fine with it sitting for almost two hours.
