I didn't want to go the trap/poison route so I thought I would try these out and I can say that they drove away my Florida moles in just a few days. Those moles had managed to dig a network of tunnels in my lawn that made it somewhat dangerous to walk around on and now they seem to be completely gone after a year long infestation. The moles are somewhere else now. I really didn't want to kill them, the moles are just doing what moles do. I just wanted them to leave my lawn, and they have.I have noticed that the two spikes do not operate at the same frequency. You can clearly hear the difference in tone.
