Brady B-342 Thermal Transfer / Dot Matrix Printable Nylon Cloth Label Brady’s non-adhesive, printable heat shrink wire marking sleeves fit around wires or cables for maximum insulation protection and permanent identification. Brady’s heat shrink sleeving is a full-circle design that provides fast and permanent wire marking. Clear, legible text can be printed on the wire and cable sleeving with a Brady printer for reliable wire identification. Review: This size works well with 18ga MTW - I recently labeled about 350 wires with permasleeves. This saved me from peeling the backing off that many labels and rolling them on the wire. It's not a huge time saver - unless you are producing labeled wires on a workbench with the proper gadgets to support speed. The main benefit, after not having to peel them, is how uniform and special they look. I was mostly doing 18ga MTW with a pretty thick insulation, and the fit was good. At times I had someone printing them out for me, but it would have been nice if they could open them as easily as I could, would have saved more time. This is the good news. The bad news: they can be tough to open to fit on the wire, if wire is pre-stripped the strands want to catch on the sleeve so you may need to wind them first, cannot use quick strippers if the label is already on and close to the end, the printed characters may shrink or become distorted after shrunk, when using open flame it can brown the label or burn the wire insulation, they are not as stuck in place as sticky labels so they may slip, and last but not least...they are expensive.

**Q: Which on will work for labeling coax rg-6?**

#M21-250-C-342 will work on the following.  3:1 heat shrinking sleeve designed for 16 - 8 gauge (diameter 0.094 - 0.215 inches, 2.4 - 5.5 mm).  I hope this is the answer you were looking for.  If not can you please re-state the question.

**Q: It says at the title that the width is 0.335" and in the specifications 0.187" (Im looking for the second one) but I have this problem with the specs?**
A: This is a shrink tube. Total length is 7', tube width a little over a 5/16". I'm not sure what is .187" indicating.

**Q: Wich one of these is able to slip over the LC Fiber connector and shrink down onto the fiber patch cable?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry.  The M21-250-C342 has a starting diameter or 0.415" before shrinking.  The correct tubing would depend on the specific connector.

**Q: will .335 shrink down onto a 18 gauge wire with jacket ?**

I recently labeled about 350 wires with permasleeves. This saved me from peeling the backing off that many labels and rolling them on the wire. It's not a huge time saver - unless you are producing labeled wires on a workbench with the proper gadgets to support speed. The main benefit, after not having to peel them, is how uniform and special they look. I was mostly doing 18ga MTW with a pretty thick insulation, and the fit was good. At times I had someone printing them out for me, but it would have been nice if they could open them as easily as I could, would have saved more time. This is the good news. The bad news: they can be tough to open to fit on the wire, if wire is pre-stripped the strands want to catch on the sleeve so you may need to wind them first, cannot use quick strippers if the label is already on and close to the end, the printed characters may shrink or become distorted after shrunk, when using open flame it can brown the label or burn the wire insulation, they are not as stuck in place as sticky labels so they may slip, and last but not least...they are expensive.
